This rendition of "Mathe Malayadwaja" is bringing me to tears on a daily basis. As an American new to these classics, I checked other renditions of this song, none are even close. Spoorthi Rao is doing something with the rhythm and her vocal patterns in this performance which are utterly transcendental. She took a great tune and turned it into pure naivedyam.
