Yeah I would say focus on networking and making friends, you’ll probably find a job that way rather than job sites!! Unfortunately it’s who you know right now

That is not so bad. It converts to $5,450 USD. Our expenses for a family of 4, with 2 little kids close to NH border, suburb of Boston in MA is $15,000USD/month for basic cost of living expenses.

High health insurance premium is a major burden for most Americans these days. I’m glad that I left the U.S. many years ago and am living overseas now with less stress and much lower cost of living.

Would you share what your salary is? Or maybe how much bigger than a comparable job in the UK? Interesting to hear the costs, but it doesn't let us know if you can save or are living month to month? You said you cook for yourself, but as your rent is split with you and your partner are you cooking for two? Also is that a private apartment or a house share (if you're comfortable divulging)?

Thank you for watching 💓 my salary varies month to month as a KZbinr and freelancer tbh! The purpose of this is to give an insight on outgoing costs 🙏 I live with a flatmate I met on Facebook, I only cook for me :)
