I love the marketplace district ;-; I remember years and years ago probably 2013 I was chilling around there and saw one random player sitting and I sat next to them, being a newbie who spent the majority of my gold to get a chair lmao and they said oh if you could buy one item what would it be and I was like THE LIGHTSABER and she gave me the lightsaber, I just remember the Mabi community being so friendly to newbiews

Some of these areas shouldn't be inaccessible or removed tbh. I need my daily dosage of nostalgia and places to hangout

Besides the graveyard I've been to all of these places in the past month, but that could just be because I'm a beta player who thrives off nostalgia Was also expecting to see the Ladeca (Moon location from the 2nd anni moon bunny event) on here

I purposely left the moon out of this video as it doesn't seem to be forgotten at all by the community! Players have found ways to get back to the moon throughout the years and we even had a very recent event at the location again. It is a wonderful location, though!

Also... I always thought that the Another World, would get new content, but as it is, it also lies empty - even back then, you'd have a few players in there, but now unless you're running G1-G3, you'll basically never go there, and it's a shame... The atmosphere was really cool.

Agreed 1000% bro. I always thought Another World as a concept where if the milletian hadn't come to save Erinn, that is what it will look like. But the main lore behind another world(Tir na nog) is different. Oh well, Nexon should've went with Chrono trigger/Ocarina of Time pproach. That will be cooler

It's such a shame that Guilds can't own castles anymore, it was cool in concept. Now, Dugald Castle, Sen Mag Castle, Abb Neagh Castle and Sliab Cuilin Castle all lies decrepit, built around empty houses... It's, very sad. I think unless you want to fight Incubus, the Castle dungeons can just be skipped; that and the Iria dungeons, they were never updated. Sad. I remember thinking 'one day, I'll have a Mabi house" and how lucky those players with the castles were... Now, even the Guild hall in Tara glitches out and you can't escape by using the door. A sadistic prank, tbh.

@TheNormieChanne1 I vaguely remember those ugly "guild robes" - very few people wore those, lol. I think that is what you're talking about, unsure.

Half of these places are highly visited in my opinion. Emain is semi popular now, Silab Culin for stones, Star Mark for opening gacha monster summons. Didn't know you could go up the Port Cobh lighthouse or go inside Rua's and Puppet Maker's house. Emain's castle and the graveyard is Generation quest related. So rarely a need to go their for anything. Cool video tho!

after being away for so long i miss the being in mabi but get so lost with all the new tech, skills and story lines. so when i do come back for a brief minute i tend to just do my dailies which back in the day everyone raft and hot air balloned now i bet they are abandon just like the rest of iria :(

A lot of these forgotten areas just need a update. Also Belvast Court House is another forgotten area. But here is how some of these areas could be fixed/improved: 1. So starting with Qilla Tutorial Zone they just remove the barrier/invisible door there that prevents old players from just walking into the area. Exploration Mastery can be a little confusing if you are a new player so just removing that barrier and letting players run freely between Qilla and the Tutorial Zone would allow older players to help guide new players through it. 2. Solea's Star Mark could be improved simply by adding a Commerce Trading Post there and maybe even a Bartering Post as well. Once we upgrade to Unreal Engine it shouldn't be to difficult to make it so Commerce airships can just fly right over there and they could allow certain Commerce Mounts to pass through the caves for land travel. 3. The problem with Another World Bangor/Baol Dungeon is there is nothing to there beyond the main story quest. Add a normal dungeon mode for Baol so players can run it anytime. Tir Na Nog has tons of uses like using Albey Dungeon to get to monsters you would normally need a dungeon pass to get to, zombies make good training dummies and pay a decent amount of gold, plus you can gather wheat and barley from the fields there, and they even add a story reason to return there later for those who want to become a Dark Knight. Another World Bangor needs a similar way to hook players into returning to it. 4. All Marketplace Areas/Housing Areas need to be completely redone. It is so out of date I think they will have to redo the entire area to make it more modern and work when we get the Unreal Engine Update. The charming look to these areas should stay but if we really want players to return to these areas we need a Housing System similar to the way FF14 Housing Areas work. 5. Emain Observatory like many other buildings are going to need a lot of work inside the building itself. A lot of older building are really mostly 2d Areas and the camera angle is locked to hide the flaws. For the Observatory specifically the inside of the building is to small and cramped so the should make it a bit bigger when the redo it in Unreal. 6. Emain's Castle is such a large and important part of Emain but it looks horrible and feels unfinished and small. There are many rooms in the castle you can't even go into which is why I say it is unfinished. It feels like it should be larger. Make the first room when you enter the castle much larger and have a Emain player Banquet every Sunday just like we do with the Tara. This second Banquet party would give players another chance to gather and interact with each other if they missed the Tara Banquet the previous day. But overall I want to see every door in that castle get a purpose. Give us Shadow Missions in Emain Castle or something. It has been a ghost castle long enough.

Emain castle, even back in the days, felt so small when you entered it. Back then, Emain was an actual kingdom, too, lol. Great suggestions all around, tbh.
