Mabinogi Tips for Beginning Players Guide 2020

Opinion about the video & nitpick: 1. Just for reference prod % is base on # player in the party + # of player that have the same or higher rank than you, so it just better to aim for the biggest party, thou most prod pt require you to be rank 1, so I agree you should be rank 1 regardless. 2. You should probably explain the difference between skill EXP and training COUNT multiplier since they completely affect training your skill, since 2x EXP lets you bypass certain training requirement but COUNT multiplier does not. For example, cooking skills are split into 50% cooking, and 50% skill book. But if your lv 200 (for 2x EXP multiplier) you can skip half of the requirement since 50%x2 = 100%, but 2x life pot (2x COUNT multiplier) doesn't let you skip since it only increases the # you did such action. So that means you only need to cook 50% less, but it will still only give you 50% exp in the end. 3. you should prob link the discord cuz not everyone knows the official discord link, and the non-official for each sever. (nao sever- for nao sever and noodle and ramen for Alexina) 4. tldr: tia and fez pet is not worth the time investment to do it hence no one talks about it (in my opinion) since they don't usually help much combat wise. 5. You should probably mention to not skip the tutorial questline (when you made a new character) because that gives you a broom pet and if you skip it you will miss the chance to get the pet and probably have to redo it again on a new character. (one per account) 6. the Saga pet can be done on a different character (only once per char) and pet are share between the character on the same server, so you can get multiple saga pet if you choose to do saga on every new char. (same with tia/fez but the daily festival quest are shares between character so it more annoying to do) 7. There more things that can be done to make things easier on mabi, which suggests another video to explain more of the advance stuff. 8. Alexina is dead 9. People can used memoir to reach to lv 200 and never reset their level when rebirthing (uncheck the options) to get a early 2x training boost, and if your under 1k, you get a 1day cooldown to switch between talent. 10. also prob should mention ap training trap that doesn't give your ap back when resetting your skill at Duncan >:D

Wait, wait, wait friend. Do I really get 2x skill training exp for being lvl 200? If so is there any other way other then being a returned player? Im trying to train gunner and ninja but i dont have enough time with their high demands :(. Level 1.5k btw and waiting on 2x ap to hit 5k

@@ebeleingram8048 For the following exp modifier you can do 1. event (2x) 2. complete pot (2x) OR Royal Complete pot (3x) [royal only came out during the event and hard to get) 3. blue prism (2x) 4. talent (2x) 5. talent pot (2x) - [combat, gunner , ninja ,ect potions) 6. lv 200 (2x-exp) 7.return title/nao blessing title (2x) 8. homestead house buff (1.5) [only for blacksmith, cooking, tailoring, Medicine and carpentry] 9. fairy village event (1.5) [rarely happen] 10. reforge hope this helps and yes they all stack

@@JackFrost-te6ip it is important to note that some of these multipliers do different things....like the 2x from lv 200 increase exp by 2x but does not drain the training condition by 2x. so if you needed say kill boss enemy (0/20) completing it once will give u 2x exp but only change to kill boss enemy (1/20)

I just started replaying again recently after a long time off. This was a nice helpful video even for someone who has played for quite a few years on and off. Going nice and slow is a great way to play. Start leveling way to many things at a time you will feel like you have done so much yet gotten no where at all. Pick what you'd like to do and keep track of it.

The old best place for windmill was tir na nog fighting zombies since they are slow. I'd say use alt to find the best mobs to match the level you need or start a party and set the finish setting so you can just finish higher mobs with windmill

You also get a free pet for finishing the memoir questline. Can't remember if you can get one per character like with the saga mounts or if it's once per account, though you do get at least 1 free pet from it. (a special version of the Floral Fairy type pet).

The Start of this game is the most important part! and this guide kills any chance you have of becoming a strong player! By telling you to lvl first! the first thing and only thing you should be doing is lvling combat skills to master! start with one do not matter then when its master and all skills are rank 1 rest your combat skill using the free skill reset! get rank 1 in another combat skill so on and so on intell you have maxed all of your combat skill when you have rank 1 in all skills but still only one skill tree lvled. you can now start to get ap. now you can play the video and start the guide!

also hard to do but lvl to Lvl 999 total and your guy to 200 if you get to this point when you rebirth if you have to or need to tell it to not rest your lvl. if you need more ap to rank 1 a skill line just rest the other ones and start that line. remember rank 1 all combat skills.

Hmm can't get a real grasp on why you can't find Blaanid. But you are bound to find her if you keep progress through the game. Just make sure you have all the beginning quests cleared.
