Damn, everyone is saying beat ripped off and this and that. Yes, it's a sample from Let Me Clear My Throat (1997), which is sampled from The 900 Number (1987) which is sampled from a Marva Whitney song produced by James Brown called Unwind Yourself (1969). All music is sampled. Artists borrow from their influences and create content. Relax.

Tyler The Tank awkward? Speak for yourself. Mac was smooth as an old school pimp.
@tylerthetank98306 жыл бұрын
I agree exactly my point he didn’t fit the typical image you would expect from a rapper and yet he came across so slick all while at same time being a pale skinned average looking white boy who was so smooth at making outside the box of typical image look “pimp” as u put it....
@2sgsecondstreetgames3206 жыл бұрын
Tyler The Tank he just didn’t have the money at first. He was always cool. I personally never saw him as average white guy even in 2010 I was like this guy is cool as shit. As soon as he got the funds to express his true self you saw all the tattoos and gold. Mac was always cool though 🤟🏾
@tylerthetank98306 жыл бұрын
Hmm that’s different then how I see him I guess I mean I see him as most guys I know and grew up with and not someone who takes life so serious like most other rappers...like for instance when I picture hanging out with other rappers I get a vibe they would be all serious or acting gangster or holding up this image society/themselves/there peers behold upon them where as Mac never gave off that vibe in my opinion anyways...not saying my view is right but definitely my perspective when looking at him compared to other artist I enjoy

I remember watching South Park on MTV back in 2011, this “New artist Mac Miller with his Blue Slide Park record” and this video were always there when they would go on commercials and I remember thinking “what a cool video” the first time, I looked him up on KZbin and instantly became a huge fan of his music and art in general. He then became one of my favorites if not my favorite artist. I was so excited to finally go to one of his concerts (Swimming tour at Greek Theatre on 2018) I got me a general balcony pass that I was thinking to upgrade to VIP so I could go backstage and meet him. I got paid a few days after I got my ticket and I was so excited to finally upgrade my pass to VIP, well that same day he passed away. I remember one of my coworkers saying “who is Mac Miller?” And I said “what about him?” She said “idk this post says he died” I remember I started to cry like I lost a close friend that day. Later I was lucky to get me a ticket for the celebration of life on the same day his concert was supposed to be (I say lucky bc it literally sold out in 1 minute) on that concert I realized how much people love him and respect him. I definitely miss him. Love you Mac. #OnlyMostDopeGoToHeaven
