Look into what makes MAC not “cruelty free” before you tell people to cancel them. They have never tested on animals… it’s China that does. I don't support China testing on animals.

That over the taupe one is on my wishlist. Love your reviews, thank you for the wear tests and in depth thoughts on the formula and colour! Really really love your helpful reviews. You discuss various points, that even if its not your favoutite or your preference, its easy be able to translate that into what others would want, and if that product is right for them. I guess I'm trying to say, the reviews are thorough and not biased, you stick to info about the product itself, not just that your opinion on them. And have never been disappointed by picking up something from one of your reviews!

Out of the 14 lipsticks I own, I have 5 powder kiss lipsticks and I have previously finished 3. Powder kiss is one of my favorite formulas from Mac. I loved both lipsticks on you. I would definitely buy over the taupe.

I haven't been buying makeup so I wasn't even aware of this launch but I am looking for a good dupe for the Bite Lipstick in Orange Fizz when it inevitably goes off and I think either of the Orangey Reds you mentioned here would be a great dupe 💜☺️

Thank you for this review. I absolutely love both shades you picked but Hot Paprika looks so perfect on you. I have Ruby New and love love it. Wears perfectly for hours comfortably. Great formula. Not drying and i love that.

I bought Over the Taupe, Sorry not Sorry and Sweet Cinnamon(?) - Really like the formular. A lot less slippy than the regular powder kiss - but same lovely powdery velvet look :) I have the same critic about the shade range - hopefully they'll bring out more, like they did with powder kiss

Whatever that sore throat is, it must be around the world! I got it from a grandson who picked it up in Israel, brought it home and gave it to all his cousins and to me! I hope it clears up soon, the coughing at night is a real bummer. But thanks so much for the LS review. I haven’t bought MAC in a while and these look very nice and with a kind of new color vibe. BTW I think the lipstick specials were for National Lipstick Day - at least in the US.

Much awaited review, many thanks for it! I'll probably pick something up eventually, the original powder one was too drying for me, I hope this'll be fine. Would you compare this to Suqqu's sheer matte lipsticks? Ofc, those aren't about the pigment, but they stay hydrating, actually don't fade even after a grand meal and give the same powdery soft effect.

Im a bit late today, been a bit unwell and not watching anything so sorry for late comment! I really love Over the Taupe on you! The swatch looked a lot different but on your lips makes me want it! What was the green you had on your nails at the start?

Mac Germany had an offer where you got a free glow play lip balm (rouge awakening) and blush (grand) for free so I bought over the taupe, that tickles and an on sale lip liner in soar to reach the spending minimum. I was also able to select a full size rouge awakening as my free sample, so I ended up paying 67€ for 6 products. I also realised how expensive their lipsticks have gotten since I last purchased one in 2019.

I also grabbed the MAC lipstick day offer - I bought a few lipliners to get me over the spending cap for the glow play balm and I'm so glad I did. It's a great colour. 👍

It’s such a nice shade! I bought an empty eyeshadow palette to reach the cap too! I’m planning on making my perfect everyday eyeshadow duo haha

@@KitschSnitch My perfect duo is Sumptuous Olive and Woodwinked. I like either as a one-and-done look. (Side note - I'm gutted that they discontinued the olive shade - it sounds odd but when you blend it the green disappears and leaves a slightly greenish bronze colour that is my perfect bronzer tone. I'm a skin tone somewhere between Alexandra Anele and Hannah Louise Poston, and I wear bronzer as blush because they're all too pink). Love your videos Kat, never miss an upload

Thanks for the review! I do have dry lips and I’m curious which Mac lipstick line you think would be best for me. I love their colors but their range is a bit overwhelming for me.

I would probably suggest looking at their more glossy ranges like the cremesheen or love me formulas 😊

Nope. I’ve worn this about 6 times since and it’s worn off around the same time each time. From my experience nudes just aren’t strong enough colours to last as well as a reds
