Are they like a Walmart or something? I thought both were grocery stores. That does sound like a good deal on the construction beam.

So more stuff that is nowhere near me, lol. We have Walmart, Sam's (see Walmart in bulk), and then Albertson's/United. As you go farther south, east, north, or west, they seem to at least have stuff that competes. We don't have much variety.

Lighting I’ve tried a lot of the tool truck brands and I’ve been a fan of a lot of snap ons, however my favorite “stick” (like this Mac) and puck light have been Astro Pneumatics. I have the square base Astro not like yours. I think it’s 500x2 part number. Both have held up and a love the magnetic charger they sell for them. I love the features this Mac has so I might need to check it out. Pocket lights the Olight Arkfeld!! I can’t stand round lights for EDC, and mine has been indestructible. I’ve accidentally washed it 3-4 times and even dried it once. Left it outside for 3-4 days through rain and have dropped it from height numerous times. Comes with a lifetime warranty too. I didn’t really expect this China light to be as good as it has been. The cons to this light is the proprietary charging. I actually like the charging system they use but they should offer it with a USB C option as well. Tactical lights Elzetta is the only way to go. USA made and absolutely you can’t kill them. CR123 batteries needed not rechargeable but there are videos of people throwing out helicopters onto pavement, shooting them with bird shot, etc and surviving. Two live in my truck with a pack of batteries, one in the night stand, and some lights for pew pews. Way better then the other “high end” tactical light brands.

Nice, good info! My Sister was demanding a Christmas list and I found the Arkfield...it actually seemed cool, but they were sold out of pretty much every color that interested me. Good to hear you like it. I loved both of my Astro's but they got to where they run down super fast and then take forever to charge. I think both were right before they started marketing the wireless charger. I have nearly bought that before (it was a stupid low price that included 2 lights), but held off. Hazet has what looks to be identical, but in their colorway...which I'd like, but it costs way too much more to justify. My little Braun pucks have been good, but I also have quite a few, so they never took the direct wear like the Astro did. I'd never heard of Elzetta and just pulled it up...looks good, but spendy. It is kind of a shame there aren't brick and mortar stores that stock this kind of stuff to check out in person.

@@lonestarmopars you will love the Arkfield. I didn’t think it would be as bomb proof as it is. I beat on mine. Elzetta is popular in the tactical world. You can sometimes find them in pew pew stores but still stream light and surefire tactical lights are more common. Surefire is still the most popular high end tactical lights and I honest don’t know why. They’re not near as good and comparable in price to an Elzetta. They have more options though. A 3 cell I recommend just having. You can not kill them.

I checked and they are still sold out of the orange. I guess when I was looking this weekend they were on sale...I remember seeing $62, but they are now $89.

USB-C is great...the prongs on the micro USB almost always break off, or fail to seat correctly.

i have the same style pocket light from parkside but the charger pops/slides out to be a usb A sadly my magnet fell off on my clip in the dark and i didnt realise i lost the magnet. but it was only 5 bucks

I wish it was a little more compact, but yeah, I could see the clip breaking off...I don't use it a ton...but try to make a point to have it on the lid of the cart so it is easy to grab.

Does the light still break if it drops? & no warranty?

I've had pretty good luck with this one so far...I'd have to check with my driver. It seems like he knows of the ProSticks in general to sort of have the weak link at the joint area. I'm assuming the will deny anything that looks like it was caused by fall damage.
