and if you take the approach that banquo doesn't approach macbeth about killing duncan because he believes the witches and wants fleance to be king, this is arguably another way that shakespeare presents the consequences of fraternisation with the supernatural because banquo's decision not to confront macbeth comes just before he is brutally murdered

@@absolutechad8126absolutely! macbeth = corruption, immorality etc and banquo = goodness, nobleness, morality etc and this is obvious in the way they treat the prophecies they get from the witches (consider also shakespeare's message about the supernatural in having the immoral character engage with the witches)
