Hello! Do not use the keyboard cover especially when you close the screen. Macbooks are not designed to handle those, especially if there is something in between the screen and the keyboard when close, and that it can damage your screen. That goes the same when you put a hard shell case. It can destroy your macbook's hinges since it puts weight on the upper part. Also, putting a screen protector can damage the screen itself. Just some tips from a fellow macbook user

if maybe just use silicon keyboard cover when want to use to typing and not use when want to close and off the macbook, it can use or not to?
