hey cozy friends! welcome back to my channel! today we are unboxing my first ever macbook that I get to call my own!! 👩🏻‍💻
it has truly been a dream to own a MacBook forever and I am so grateful that I was able to do this for myself and be able to use this for the remainder of my university career and into a ✨real✨ career later down the road.
in this video you will watch me unbox my new MacBook, set it up, and customize some features.
I lost count how many times I say that I am excited, but truly, this is the best gift to myself ever!

Hey, congrats on the new Mac. I also got one recently and have been researching about cases. It seems like these hard cases or any form of cases are not good for your mac in the long run, it damages the hinge and might also create gaps when you close the lid. I'd suggest you return the case and get a good sleeve to carry the mac around and you should be good to go. Cheers :)

adding a case to the screen of the macbook will cause the screen hinges to loosen and in the future you could have issues of your macbook not holding its screen position. Just wanted to let you know that. Look into it if you dont believe me

heyy Taylor, do not use a case for your MacBook, it's going to damage the hinge and bend it. That happened to me before, it bent my laptop in a matter of just days, and when I noticed it, it was too late. It also gives you way more weight than it can actually bear. It is so thin that you should take care of it. Do not use keyboard, camera or screen protector either. I would STRONGLY recommend a sleeve. This saved my ass
