If you’d be comfortable sharing, I’d love to know more about what your analytics were like on your COVID big blow up video. Like did it take off minutes or hours after it launched? Or did it take days with 10 or 20 views and then just explode or was it a slow build? What was the CTR and watch time percent, that made KZbin pick it up so much even from a small channel? Thanks for listening, I just only see established youtubers share their analytics but never a small channel that has a big breakout video!

Just came across your channel through your covid video. You seem so positive and I am definitely trying to focus on the positive things around me right now despite living in darker times than I ever imagined facing. So far my family has stayed healthy but we had a scare when my husband's mother had a classmate in dental school test positive. The most recent scare is that in the city we just bought a house, there was a teenage party with anywhere from 100 to 200 people. There have been positive tests and it will only grow. I'm still not comfortable going out anymore than is necessary but I miss seeing friends and having date nights with my husband. We had just started being diligent about going out at least once a month before this all started. Wow I got really rambley. But seriously I am so grateful I found your videos tonight. Stay safe!

You are a brave lady for delving into this whole Mac vs PC holy war. Though admittedly passions have cooled in the last decade or so. And I totally get what you mean by having to earn your upgrades. I'm the same way. I started with a crappy 286 computer in 1987. And I still treasure memories of learning DOS from the grounds up. Kids these days don't know what they are missing. For your next upgrade, might I suggest getting a couple of 27" monitors. I don't know how you can stand editing video on a tiny laptop screen. I don't even edit videos and I have 3 27" screens in front of me, hooked up to my 2019 mac book pro.

I've been toying with the idea of starting a youtube channel but always hit a road block when I realize I don't have the tools I need nor the money to buy them. I want to try vlogging to see if it'll help me get over my social anxiety and putting myself out there. Still, it all doesn't seem feasible without having a good computer to edit with and a camera to record it on. Hi so to start off I always used my school provided laptop but I couldn’t use it creatively and I could never afford a laptop while i am budgeting for me to be able to move out of my parents home. I am no longer in school and had to return the laptop so now i am completely stuck lol. I use my iPhone for just about everything including watching tv. I’ve always wanted to upload to youtube creatively, but before i was using a old phone that I could barely hold storage so just imagine editing on a small phone that already has too much.( I would have to delete everything just to record) I eventually gave up and lost my creative spunk and stopped doing the things i loved. Recently my mother was released from her job and is trying to start her own online business, i am doing as much to help and its also made me get back into my creative ways. I would love the laptop to upload my photos on as I have gotten back into photography and also I’m getting into custom clothing and would need something i can create designs on. I’ve been in debate on taking from my savings to possibly buy a computer but I continue to doubt myself on whether I will be wasting it if I lose confidence in my work and end up spending money that was supposed to be saved for me to become more independent. This laptop will be in great use if I were given the opportunity.

The reason I would like to have the MacBook Pro is because the laptop I used to use doesn’t work anymore, it’s always breaking down on me and I don’t wish to cause my family more problems in asking for a new laptop considering it’s very expensive. I do art, it’s one of many things I enjoy, but with a broken down laptop I can’t do art and I always wanted to show my art on KZbin to get more people to come and I would like to start commissions as well. My favorite thing about school is that I get to escape from my home life. My home life isn’t that great missing dad ect so when I go to school it’s my time to escape. I put my time and effort and mind into the work that’s given to me and I think I put a lot of effort into my work because it distracts me from all the negativity around me. But it’s really hard to type on my phone or hand write multiple pages front and back in the time constraint that I’m giving the majority of the time. So I think with this Mac I would be able to put so much more time into thinking about projects and hw as well as have time to work on it and not so much me coming up with a quick idea in one day so I have time to hand write and type on my phone for the rest of the days. I would be honored to win this giveaway because it would give me a opportunity to put more effort and succeed in my education. Sorry for the rant but I really need this

Hi :) My seventeenth birthday was last week and I initially asked for a Macbook however, I understand the situation my parents are in due to covid and realized that they could not get me one. A laptop would definitely come in handy now due to attending school online. I am currently going into my senior year of highschool so I really have to make sure that all my work is done and college applications are filled. I believe that everyone who is here needs a macbook, and I am no different, the reason I need it is because I live in Brazil and here all these types of products are very expensive, I can't afford to buy one of these. And having aum could help me a lot in the remote and online classes of my daughter and mine. She is nine years old and is taking classes only on a virtual basis, sharing the computer with me as I am also taking classes from college. It gets very complicated for both of us on the same computer.
