great video, I did the same thing I replaced the thermal paste using Arctic MX4 cleaned up the fan and the inside, yet watching KZbin videos on it still running around 70 to 80 degrees c is this considered good? because my early 2008 macbook pro runs much cooler, around 50 to 60 degrees c under load.

so i know this computer comes with an igpu, wouldnt that mean that the cpu and gpu are on the same chip? whats the other dye for? sorry if this is a bad question, i dont know much about computers

The other chip is the chipset And yes the I gpu is on the same chip as the cpu

these older laptops actually dont *technically* have a gpu built in, rather they situate it in a different chip. So if you where to upgrade the cpu (which isnt posssible) But thereotically you would still have the same graphics.

@@saikothesergal also about the "But thereotically you would still have the same graphics" it depends on where the gpu is located on, like a intell based system with integrated graphics has the chip in the cpu or on the cpu platter i personally think that this laptop has its gpu built in to the cpu die, i found one of these laptops outside and thought to fix it because i like doing it and like collecting old computers, (i managed to fix it and am waiting on a battery from amazon)
