Sometimes while waiting in the local maccas carpark when I had to pick my sister up from work, I would lose count of how many shitbox falcons and commodores scraped their exhausts because they all had chopped springs. All P platers from the high school around the corner as well, which was known for having a lot of meth-heads attending. It was quite amusing to sit back and watch them struggle to get over the speedbumps in the carpark

I worked at maccas for 6 years, and I was a manager for 2 of those years. I stopped working there in July this year. I miss the absolute onslaught of foot falcons every Thursday night (Centrelink payment day in WA) and Samoan Side Loaders every Saturday/Sunday afternoon whenever the footy was on (except we called them Armoured Troop Carriers because most of the time they'd actually be driven by middle eastern families at our store at least). Special mention to the same 7 tradies who would visit our store 3 times each day for a year straight (they were the only reason our store was profitable at the time, literally) especially that one really bulked-up carpenter who threatened to strangle me between his thighs because we didn't have almond milk for his medium extra-hot cappucino.

bro legit when I worked at HJs in the CBD (brisbane) we had all walks of life, from taxi drivers ordering the same fuckin veggie burger large meal with a coke, junkies trying to pry open the doors (we shut at 11pm), people coming from hospital discharge in full gowns, wheelchairs, IV drips at all hours of the night, drunk girls in ubers screaming their orders and the 5am tradies that were always half asleep or friendly af (made my morning on overnights). Best part was the 3 suicide attempts from the overpass up the road I had seen, the armed robbery next door (gunpoint), the amount of sketchy mfs who I directed to go to maccas instead of stabbing me for a whopper, the homeless guys I would share a smoke and some dinner with (they always said not to do meth) and the regulars from the half-way house up the road who always waved to me (they know I'm one of them). And people say Australia has no culture.
