I have operated this variant, as well as the VT and VS. So too other manufacturers. My experience is that the 655 is an incredibly versatile machine when operated by a person with initiative and correct training. I've operated it amongst minerals, green waste, liquids, litter and heavy dirt and sand. The truck performs incredibly well, exceeding both mine and customer expectations. A far better alternative to the Schwarze variant.

I operate an RT655 on a daily basis. Ok for leaves, won't pick up loose material larger than 19mm. will not pick up loose sand or dirt in one pass, requires several passes. Doesn't come close to suction performance of a pure vacuum sweeper.

This is pretty lame if you compared it to the Italian manufactured Dulevo 5000 which is smaller than the RT655 in physical size yet has a higher waste compaction hopper, controllable suspension lift, 4 wheel steering capabilities for tight turns and a high reach dump function. Oh and doesn’t loose derbies pickup if the hopper vacuum screen is blocked since Dulevo products don’t just rely on the suction fan.
