Actually (apart from love to the Artist) the biggest applause should go to the editors of those files. It takes enormous amount of time, patience and precision to identify, edit and compile all those songs into listenable form. We probably knew all those songs already, being scattered on thousands of whatever "editions" (not gonna name things here) where the audio quality was sooooo poor that it was unlistenable, except . Prince work definitely deserves a proper, devoted "Vaultmeister" for the same job as Joe Travers did and does for Frank Zappa legacy. Whomever that is they cannot be just "family member" but rather a devoted fan, because only such person will truly appreciate and enjoy spending literally months on the quest of discovering hidden gems in Prince's vault. But it would all be unnecessary if Prince himself would actually consider releasing all that INCREDIBLE material, which (for totally unknown to me reasons) has been hidden. When one listens to some (just!) soundchecks, or aftershows, those are sometimes WAY BETTER performed than the officially released records. Now, it may be "Gemini's machiavellism" (I am Gemini, I know what i am talking about) for doing thigs this way, but for ARTISTS like Prince, it should be a national duty to preserve the works of a genius, which he undoubtedly was. So, thank you Mace and Delirium !
