Macedonian River Treska * Matka, Skopje

What an amazing weekend in Skopje, Macedonia! I couldn't help myself but to explore and find great place to continue my beach adventures! Macedonia is my home country and I have lived there until age of 25!
I went to explore the beautiful Matka area, and done my first dip EVER here in the river Treska! This river is a major contributor to the artificial lake Matka that was created after dam was built in 1938 and with that Matka Canyon came to existence. This river spot here is only few hundred meters away from the famous canyon. The water in the river was SUPER COLD, but it was a nice refreshing tip on this hot Sunday in Skopje! Enjoy the footage from this wonderful Macedonian nature.
