I read a tweet that said “when you excel they spreadsheet about you”, & somebody responded “you made a power point”. PodcastAndChill is a good platform that gives people an opportunity to speak “their” truth, haters be hating on MacG because of how good he is at asking open ended questions. We thank the team for not being afraid of openly having conversations that ordinary people are already having behind closed doors. No MacG isn’t ruining careers in fact he is building careers. Continue to revolutionise the podcast platform.
@SimplySiwe3 жыл бұрын
The only reason people are mad at MacG is because he dared to colour outside the lines and made a success out of it without having to confirm to the industry norms. It drives them crazy because he is one of a very few who can say he is self-made and owes no one for his success...unlike the rest of them.

There are celebrities in the industry who have personal issues against MacG and the podcast so they will ride the hate wave without even watching these episodes, people in the industry are mean and evil, they can't stomach that MacG has created something solid for himself and it's working out.

I am impressed. This is probably the most important episode thus far. I have never heard MacG speaking with such authoritative eloquence. We come here because we like the content. Those who don't like it shouldn't watch. You guys are at the cutting edge of creating captivating, alternative, uncensored content outside the traditional broadcasting space with all its gatekeeping, red tape and censorship and audiences are tired of conservative PG content. It's not sustainable in the era of the internet. Keep it coming. Well done. I'm not even South African, I am a Zimbabwean currently watching from California in the US.

There is a point he made about Melow & Sleazy where by he said he would welcome them to the shoe, even though they cost him a job at SABC. Unconditional love is reserved for women, children and dogs. I watched that Jub Jub interview twice in it's entirety because the first time I saw nothing wrong in the first viewing. After it trended I watched it again and I have come to the conclusion that social justice warriors are just bullies and right now they want your lunch money (literally). Oprah interviewed Lance Armstrong and his career and history was erased instantly, she wasn't cancelled. She was crowned a journalistic god. You are giving an honest platform for all to use. I bet for some celebs this platform is like therapy. Never be afraid to shine coz someone is being blinded by your light.

Bro, there is this site called 4chan where white racist guys hate everyone and everything that isn’t white, capitalist and male. One thing I’ve realised, celebrities drag the podcast because it’s easier for them. Mara when Black Coffee was accused for abuse everyone was quite like a church mouse. Okare Twitter was shut down. At that time bo Minnie, Ayanda nerh bale kae. This cancelling thing is not educating people its just for people to get revenge

Did the people that congratulated Black Coffee's Grammy nomination & their platfroms get cancelled because he allegedly commited GBV? Did the Grammy's get cancelled? These celebrities must keep the same energy with everyone.

This podcast is very important and it challenges the fake content these celebrities are giving us. In America we have the likes of Wendy Williams who became successful with challenging celebrity’s lifestyle and content so we need balance in the media industry we cannot keep having the same fake celebrity lifestyle. Television has deprived us of the real content or real conversations and even platforms to narrate our stories so Thank you MacG and Podcast and Chill for giving us platform to balance the media industry

Are you kidding? Wendy Williams is always trashed by everyone because of her reckless mouth, and majority of celebrities don't even like her. Now that she's divorced and sick.. it's like karma. Speaking ill and rejoice in others misery will eventually catches up with you and show you flames. What goes around comes round. Is Sol and MacG karma coming?!... Will wait and see...
