This interview should have been 5 hrs long, it was a great interview. The best in my humble view, my biggest take was' lets be critical thinkers, lets use our analytical faculty to analyze information, lets not just absorb information because it was said by someone we like, lets question every thing. That's why we have the conscious mind, to reject and accept information. Great interview indeed , I am still in awe! Any man that encourages critical thinking has my utmost respect ,it is Andrew Carnegie who said "You are what you think. So just think big, believe big ,give big, forgive big, laugh big, love big and live big" As black people we must stop thinking like victims because we will forever be victims , everything is created in the mind ,what we see is just a manifestation of our thoughts.

Hello fellow Chiller...I resonate with much of your thought in response.. One thing that lingers In my mind is one question... When one is in solo space, where is free thinking then? We are human beings ...race, culture, religion and all that our daily existence entails and boxes for 'safety' , structure or controls.. All man orientated... Is then our problem as a human race not fear? Fear of self ? How do we as the chillers understand, follow and question for positive change and a greater positive influence... Get intrigued, motivated and enlightened.... Yet it ends here... In comment and opinionated view points... Have we then not always been woke.... Here is Penuel.. One of many stepping forth to "share".. on a platform that allows mar movement and engagements. How do we relate and question and understand.... Coz we've always known.... We are... And all is abound as the answer...

Penuel's way of communicating is called WORD SALAD. The term word salad refers to random words or phrases linked together in an often unintelligible manner. Often, a listener is unable to understand the meaning or purpose of the phrase/conversation. He would say one good thing followed by a lot of confusion!

@Kgotso Sambo He didn't answer any questions thoroughly he just made bizarre statements that didn't make any sense. He said women need to stop being difficult, and then turned around and said he's advised his son to teach his daughter to fight so that she can fight boys. Most boys are stronger than girls, what happens if a boy hits her and hurts her? Also, what happens if the daughter takes the same fighting mentality into the her marriage? He then said that men are animals, they are wild and women need to be equally crazy. Thing is, men and women are wired differently. In the Traditional African society, when boys came to a certain age, they were entrusted in the care of their father, they were taught how to herd cattle, hunt (and/or fish), they were initiated into manhood under the supervision of men and instructed how to be husbands and custodians, they then went into military and learnt how to protect the community. Penuel has argued that getting married forces a woman to use her husband's surname which is demeaning. In the traditional African society, women used their CLAN NAMES. Surnames were introduced by the colonisers. Even today, our mothers are addressed by the clan names. There's absolutely no reason to be anti-marriage. *Marriage is a contract*, it gives both parties RIGHTS. Should your spouse end up on a life support machine you get to have a say, but if you are just living together, the parents get to have the final say. Statistics also show that two parent homes are more financially stable than one parent homes. Sadly, colonisation destroyed our traditional way of life. Instead of giving in to our baser instinct we need to be looking for the best way to marry our traditional way of life to modern day life so that we can live amicably together. Capitalism has created a world of Haves and Have nots. Many men are frustrated because they can't provide for themselves or their families properly. We need to be looking for solutions for these problems, not adding fuel to the fire. We are struggle to handle money because money is a recent development in Africa. We used to engage in barter trade, we were self employed (everybody owned their land and cattle and ran small businesses). The white man got rid of our traditional economy, and introduced a different system which is very exploitative. . He robbed us of our Land (using various Land Acts) and pushed us into arid areas, he stole or killed our cattle and then he imposed Hut Tax. He then locked us out of the lucrative parts of the economy, only allowing us in as slave labour. Our parents struggled during Apartheid living hand to mouth. 1994 was supposed to bring about change, but the ANC got played at CODESA. Truth is when they got the keys to the country, ,they found that the Boers had emptied the coffers and stuck South Africa with a debt of $25 BILLION. Tata asked the World Bank, IMF and Western powers to cancel the debt but they refused,. He asked them for something similar to the Marshall Plan (Grants and Loans (at low interest 2%); akin to what the USA gave Europe to build after the 2nd World War) but they refused. On to of that, they deliberately cut back on Foreign Investment! The ANC was crippled, they had to shelve all the development plans (houses, hospitals ,schools energy for all, jb creation), and instead focus on paying off the debt, sorting out South Africa's credit rating so that the govt could be able to borrow on favourable terms! Sadly, somewhere along the way corruption became common place within the ANC. Penuel, much like Nota is mentally ill, and you lot are enabling him.

@@thandoprudencendlovu5240 Sisi, he has SIX children by FOUR different women. At one point he had a very public spat with one of them. They were embroiled in a legal dispute which he happily documented on social media. Last I heard, he had decided not to pay child support. When men do such things, it's the children who get hurt. If he doesn't the mother (s) to get the money, he could have just paid the school fees directly to the school and bought school uniform and stationary. Anyway, the podcast just got worse and worse, he was advocating women employ violent tactics...iYho! I can't even. It 's one thing to invite people who have achieve something, who've gone through their ups and downs, and are looking to share something constructive with us...this man something else, he is the epitome of dysfunction... @Mpume Khumalo You call this knowledgeable? Penuel said women need to start murdering and raping men. He said that African women are too combative, and then turned around and said, he encourages his children to fight each other, so that his daughter can learn to fight, so that she can fight boys estratweni. Boys are stronger than girls, what if she gets into a fight with a strong boy and he hurts her? What if she carries that fighting spirit into her marriage? He said Afrikaner women are not as problematic as African women...did he hear what Afrikaner women had to say when Oscar Pistorius murdered Reeva Steenkamp? It's not all pap and vleeis for abhoMarika! He said African women like to attack Muslim women who choose to work in the family business.. Firstly, African women have never attacked Muslim women for their choices. It is the WEST who went to wage war under the guise of liberating Afghani women from their burkas! He said African women refuse to work in family owned businesses and would much rather work for corporate. Where are these African owned family businesses? Wena do you know any woman who refused to work in a family owned business and instead opted to work in corporate? On the issue of money, he doesn't know that in the traditional african society, every one was self employed- everyone owned land and cattle and they had their own side business either trading, weaving, pottery, beadwork, blacksmith etc. The white man came and destroyed our traditional way of life, he stole our cattle, whatever he didn't still he killed! It's in the history books. He then used the law to steal the arable land, and pushed our grandfathers into arid land. When our forefathers refused to work for him in the mines, he implemented the the HUT TAX, thereby forcing young men to work in the mines for a pittance just so as to be able to pay the HUT TAX for their parents and grandparents! Our forefathers were excluded from the economy, they were overworked, underpaid and subjected to all manner of abuse! As Black people we have only been dealing with money for about 120 years, meantime Jews have been operating as shylocks (money lenders) for CENTURIES! Maps Maponyana said research revealed that it will take the average Black family EIGHT GENERATIOns (200 years) to get out of poverty! On marriage, he says he doesn't want to get married, because marriage subjugates women by forcing them to use their husband's surnames...in the traditional African society a married woman was always referred to by her CLAN NAME. Even today, the in-laws refer to the makoti by her CLAN NAME! Marriage is a contract. It gives women rights! If you anything happens to your husband the wealth is protected. If a spouse end up on a life support, then you can decided when to switch off the machine, but if you are co-habiting the parents can take primary position and make decisions! Back in the day when a woman got married she received cattle (lobola) and land, marriage actually made women wealthy. White women on the other hand are the ones who had to pay lobola! Their husbands would chow the money, get wife number 2 and rinse and repeat, The Marriage Women's Act 1882 was enacted to protect a woman's dowry. To this day, in Europe, when a woman gets married, her father has to pay for her wedding! African women tilled the land. Men looked after cattle (no easy feat considering the wild animals and threats from marauding warriors from other nations). Men also hunted game. At the end of the day, women brought vegetables, grain, fruit, seeds and nuts to the table, whilst, men brought meat. Our grandmothers didn't need feminism because they were independent, they went dutch before white women knew the meaning of the word White women on the other hand, created feminism because they were oppressed. African women became oppressed under colonisation, because our women bought into the colonisers ways of oppressing women. Black now think that Black women are too much, they think Black women need to make themselves small like these white women who are low vibrational creatures- very passive aggressive! No Sisi, don't be taken in by the pretty face and Model C school accent. When someone shows you who they are, believe them. Narcissists are not good people!
