Your mistaking the Mach loop with Star Wars canyon. The mishap happened mid summer so togs would avoid the place that time of year for the heat.

@@DafyddPhillips Well, that is not true because people who were in the area got injured from the debris. So there were people there. So I may have had the wrong place but there were people there when it happened.

Truly a beautiful bird..one of the best! Again you capture the Grey Phantom in flight....stupendous! You need to cross the pond again and get some F-18's out of Luke AFB in Arizona....the scenery won't be as green but it will be fun. Keep pushing down that shutter.

I was there last Wednesday after the bike race...Eagles came through late on, the best couple of passes I've ever seen. Not many people on the hill then but seem so much louder, faster and more aggressive than anything i've seen there for a few years. Say no more.. superb video as always. wow!

Hi John Star Wars canyon is in Death Valley, California. I wouldn’t rush out there now as nothing has flown through since the mishap of 2019. Fingers crossed flying will resume there one day. If you want to search it you need to find father Crowley overlook. The car park there looks into the canyon

They gain experience on how the loaded aircraft behaves.

The weapons won’t be live but weighted. The pilots need to fly the planes as if they’re armed up to learn how they fly with various distributions of weight
