Those were great passes, some of the best. Someone said that on one of the final passes in the last few days they had Welsh flags in the cockpit which if true was a nice touch. 👍

I remember being a snot nosed 8 year old kid and getting a chance to go to the Mach loop and watch my dad and a few of the guys from his squadron fly their A-10s from thr 511th at RAF Alconbury through there. Certainly not as impressive as watching the Eagles burn through there but it's still a memory I keep to this day. Me screaming about here comes my Dad, everybody there cheering for something that was routine to see for many of them but that was special to me.

I will be missing them. My farwell with LN F-15C's was during CAP over NATO eastern flank, beautyful Eagles, fully armed with 6 AIM120 and 2 AIM9 operating from Łask AB.

I do love these Last Evers, saw them ripping up the Wash to the North Sea this morning & now while watching other F15’s carving up over Cromer I can see on ADS-B the same ones I saw this morning are now over Machynlleth Aberystwyth & Barmouth doing loops lol! As an aside, over Kings Lynn got to see the F35s doing their magical cloaking act, banking on their sides & completely disappearing! (In a blue sky after the rains had passed).

I remember at my last airshow at RIAT 2019. I brought a Grim Reapers patch and had a picture taken with one of the pilots of the 493rd. Now that patch will be worn with even more pride on my hoody!!👍🏽
