Nice Review! I like the way the game now separates the 6 and below and 7 and up stacks. I'd buy this set if I wasn't invested in the original set.

Thanks Brian! I was very interested in Machi Koro and when this version came out it was said to have fixed a bug or two including the setup of the market as well as function as if it had expansions included. I've been very happy with it, but if you have the base game and some expansions you are probably just as good to go as you said!

I believe it started as a Target exclusive and still may be. It is also available on Amazon at the moment!

SonTung ATM BLBC is "the best" of the base game and the two expansions, so it inlcudes most of the cards from all. Also the card backs are different. BLBC has the cards divided into 2 decks: '6 and under' and '7 and over' which is indicated on the card backs.
