Banning aquariums will make the zoo less exciting and less educational for marine biologists since we can't even study the marine life if we don't have aquariums, whatcha gonna expect if a marine biologist wants to study the behavior of a Shark will he go and pay hundreds or in some cases thousands of dollars for a dive so he can study only one shark? Or will he spend some bucks to go to a zoo and watch the sharks.

It's okay to keep any other animal in captivity *except* orcas, who are sapient, thinking beings, not too dissimilar to us. Anything else is morally acceptable imo. Not to mention they have Like twice the neurons that humans have, and are not only the 2nd most intelligent animals on earth under humans, but they are also the only non human animals that are extremely close if not equal in some regards to human intelligence and sapience.

maybe if marine parks had a decently sized enclosure for gigantic emotionally intelligent whales and had morals that prevented them from treating them badly and using them for a show, they wouldn't lose their minds and lash out with aggression so quickly, I think eventually they will crash out, no matter how big their enclosure or how well they're treated since they are still in captivity but it will be delayed by several years at least. I honestly don't care if it empties Sea Worlds wallet to have an ethical remodel, just fucking do it for the sake of the whale's sanity and your staff's safety.

its really REALLY sad and disappointing that people don’t care about the people who died who swam with these orcas. some (if not) all the people who died to the orcas don’t deserve this, i sometimes question why did they die? incompetence of seaworld? the abuse the orcas experienced? or is it their own fault? i also always question on why people don’t feel sympathy with the people who died. (for the most part) its not the orcas or humans fault. its seaworld itself, not the people. it’s heartbreaking thinking what these people’s family felt when they heard about their sons/daughters getting torn apart by orcas. no orca deserves this type of treatment that’s exactly why we should end the treatment to orcas as it harms both us humans. and the orcas.
