I've dug a bit into MGK, there's vid on his channel from couple years back when he met Blink 182 after a concert and it sounds like he's pretty chill. A lot of the things he does on stage are just his "scene look", he does this to keep the attention level high and he does that well. About the music - after release of Ticekts to my Downfall I've listened to it the same way I did listen Blink's Enema of the State in 1999 - for a month, day and night. It's pop-punk, it's fresh, it's loud, it's good. When you look closely Travis Barker had crazier actions when he was in his 30's. What I'm tryn to say is - some are enjoying, some are not. If you're on the "not" side just chill, play next song and let other enjoy MGK if they want ;)

I played a show with Machine Gun Kelly in I think 2013. We were excited to meet him considering he was doing pretty well at the time, and hoped it would bring opportunity or connections. He missed all of the acts that opened for him, and was late to his own show because he was at the strip club. His band also didn’t bring all of their equipment and asked to use our drum set. We said sure, and then they said they were going to cover up our band name on our bass drum. We said nah. Lol.
