One thing I notice about Kiryu, is that the design of his face in this game looks like he's defeated and depressed, in the other games he looks more indimitading and serious (but I think this was the objetive in RGG5...).

It's because this game got a graphical overhaul, making it slightly better than the previous titles, while Yakuza 4 used the same engine from Yakuza 3, hence why the difference.

+Gustavo Oliveira its because he had a hard time living all alone (he was kinda depressed at the beggining of the story) thats why he looks like that also its because he is getting older

I remember in Yakuza 1 and 2, when someone asks Kiryu what he likes to sing or if he goes to karaoke and he always answer: "No one wants to hear me singing" Don't worry, Kazzy. Haruka (& us fans) willl always be there to hear you sing ^^

Martiinzz SFX is still there. It's different (just "bang"), but it's there and it IS loud. It was way quieter before (in Y4 at least) and it is quieter in Ishin. I guess developers knew they screwed up with sound editing during karaoke parts.

+spikevincent kiryu is a terrible singer what are you talking about? starting from this point 1:03 i can't stop laughing, i can't even press the buttons correctly. 1:17 it exploded here when he goes 'baby'. i don't understand any japanese, so when he start pointing fingers, and looking all seriuos, i just can't hold it in anymore...i had to laugh so hard.
