This is helpful in so many ways: not only for how to apply fringe but also to watch your techniques of handling the transfer tool and the way you wrap around the gate pegs. It’s a subtle movement but one very different than I learned (mine is rather clumsy) and more efficient. Your tutorials are superb, thank you. I am a member of the “no music, please,” crowd. Simpler for the viewer and surely simpler for you to not have to edit that in.

Elena (sp?) you might want to put all these techniques into an E book for all of us to purchase and link the techniques to these videos. Just a thought. You are a great teacher and your knowledge and skill in fiber arts is wonderful to share, but then I am being selfish because I so much admire your work, patience and skill.

Hi thank you so much for all your kind words. I do want to do something along these lines but not just yet; taking it one thing at the time ❤️

thank you, I want to do the same thing on a basic two rectangles sewn together as a no-hood poncho, men's (non-v) shape. This same thing should work :) ... I admit I am surprised; I thought they would be loop that I cut the ends of to become strings instead of loops. But I guess that is probably more of a hand loom knitting concept.

Great video. I usually do most of my finishing work with a crochet hook off the machine but I might have to try doing it on the machine.

AJ Boff , thank you. I do that sometimes as well. It depends from project to project.

I’ve always used a crochet hook off the machine, but love this, so will give it a try. Thank you

@@jusme66 Will come and comment here if I will do that. My next beginner video coming on the 25th is about braids, but maybe the following one could be about cables and some designs with cables. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thank you ❤️

hello which yarn did you use on this scarf? and what is the weight of the yarn. Please do a video on different yarns for beginners. Thank you

Hi, this is a 100% merino superwash wool from Hands of Uruguay,(Manos del Uruguay) it is so so lovely. It doesn't say the count on it, it is for hand knitting and it says that the needle should be 2-2.75 mm. I would say it is close in weight with a 2/14 lambswool. Thanks for the great idea 😊

What yarns do you use? I just find you.

HI Azuceana, For this scarf for example I used "Manos del Uruguay" yarn it is 100% merino wool and it is just soooo lovely. I do like to use wools and cottons usually but wool is my favourite fiber

another great video, thank you! However, I find the background music quite monotonous, better to just have silence between your explanations

I think the music is cute.

I agree Petra - I found the music very irritating and had to mute the sound on my computer, relying on learning just by watching.

Hi, I didn't use a punchcard for the scarf, it is just cables. I am planning to do videos on cables soon 😊
