Machine Washes Your Clothes While You Cycle

The SpinCycle is a portable washing machine that attaches to almost any bicycle. It was created by Rich Hewitt, he came up with the idea when in Burundi. While he was there he had to wash huge amounts of clothes by hand and wanted to find a better solution.
The bicycle is fully usable with a SpinCycle attached, and everything needed for washing clothes can be carried in the drum. When needed the device rotates into place and the drum detaches so it can be filled. The drum is fitted with a paddle that helps the washing process.

I live in South Africa and I have the exact same bike contraption (I built it myself using my own ideas)...except I go from door to door offering to do their wash for a price and 78% of people pay me to ride my bike for a couple of blocks then return and hand over their clean clothes. What comes with my service: I use my own laundry detergent...I use my own water supply to fill the metal container(not plastic)...after I do the spin dry mode, I then transfer all the clothes to another employee with a metal drum bike contraption, that works the same way. Except it completely dries the clothing with a small lit burner device. My company uses my own dryer sheets. Then finally the clean clothes arrive at their door, all folded up and wrapped in a square bundle using my own newspapers. Happy wife, happy Husband. 😎😎😎

I have a similar idea but not sure if it's better than this. My idea is instead of putting the bin on the bicycle which will make riding it heavier especially with water in the bin, we attach two wheels at the both flat sides of the bin so that it can rolls and spins on the road just like a train. sorry if you can't understand what I was trying to deliver. English is not my first language :)

So basically you have a three wheeled tricycle. I'm assuming you mean only the front wheel? The back wheel would be difficult for a geared cycle. The front might also have issues with range of steering, but it's worth a try. You should rig up something just for proof of principle and then file a patent. Easiest play if you get the patent would be to license this to someone as it would require significantly more manufacturing capability than the one in this video. I think he chose this method because it's easily attached to existing bicycles without re-engineering the whole bicycle. But your idea is still worth a shot. Best bet would be to engineer a wheel barrel combo that can be easily affixed to any current bicycle. Good luck to you.
