This is one of the best songs I've heard all year... that bounce... the melodies.... the vibes... unreal EDIT: LMAO I can't believe this comment I made randomly on my work account is still getting so many replies. For more context, I actually don't subscribe to boxing things into genres usually but we can't deny that giving something some sort of categorization is a good way to help you can find similar sounding tracks. I personally listen to all sorts of styles from Fly Lo, Thom Yorke, James Blake... to Kendrick, JID, J.Cole... to Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, Tame Impala... all the way to Adele and Lizzo if you catch my vibe. So I wasn't really trying to box this into anything, I was actually just commenting on how awesome the genre-bending sound is!

Been trying to figure it out, as a classical composer who's whacked and researches different new genres, but the only thing I came up with is that it's a trap fusion. Mainly elements of pop and soul in the vocals, and background beat, then she has some weird vapor moments in the middle, where we can hear richly and warmly reverbed and filtered instruments and the beat tunes down a bit, then of course electronic synths moving in electronic rhythm over trap drum beats in trap rhythm throughout the whole track, , then the vocal editing (vocal effects) are all electronic and very neatly and refreshingly done btw, some of the mode movement in the harmony reminds of jazz.. Shall I continue? 😅🤣🤣😂🙃
