@@lboog081284 The "why we broke up" vid they released has most of the points covered, but it's all pish posh stuff, without going into the actual reasons. The main thing is that Patt has an ego, regularly takes crazy stances on the most random shit imaginable, and is generally kind of abrasive . Over the years this got worse and worse, with Matt finally having enough and deciding to split off. Liam Left altogether as far as I know. Also its like silvergarison and boogiemann said above. Businesses ruin friendships by making friends into coworkers. Look at epicmealtime, or gamegrumps, originally just channels about friends having fun and making stupid vids about whatever. Then they got popular. Suddenly the vids aren't allowed to be silly anymore, they have a more serious tone. You can't make certain jokes, or make fun of certain topics, that'll ruin your brand image. You can't say certain words. If you're doing sponsored content, you can't talk shit on the sponsor for fear of them backing out. Production value goes up, now you have to hire editors, and lighting and script and costume people. Now you're selling merch, and for that you need distributors, and designers. You need to make a twitter or a website to lets the fans keep up with news. Suddenly this simple concept of friends doing stupid shit for fun has lost all original meaning. Now it's a business, and your job.
