THANK you Rabbi, I've been very disturbed as I looked around concerning Kabbalah today. There's just too much bad smoke (outright occult, tarot, freemasonry, witchcraft, and too many Gentiles thinking that this is great stuff while not keeping hardly one mitzvah or any of the halakhah), for there not to be a terrible fire! I felt that God's heart is very unhappy! How does this distinguish Israel from the nations, if it is a mystery that all the world can know, but without keeping Torah? Besides, Mosheh said in Deut.29:30 that we don't need any mystery, but only to keep ha'Torah for all generations, and in Deut.4:7-8, 12, 15; Ex.32:30 to Ex.34, that we have HIM in His fullness, and He doesn't do proxies, i.e., nothing can replace Him or His Torah in our lives! If it does, it is idolatry! I saw one with an arrow pointing to the Sefirot and the words, "This is the mind of God". My heart pained. We cannot reduce Ha'shem to that or anything else! AND, I don't believe we're meant to know the mind of Ha'shem, but only His will for us, so that we may live it, and to worship Him in awe. If we know the mind (mysteries) of Ha'shem, how can we be awed by Him?! I'm seeking to convert to Judaism, having come out of the terribly deceptive Christianity / Messianic after 40 long years of struggling and searching for answers, and often been told half-truths or no Truth at all... even by Jews, because they, too, have been told lies, e.g., a Messianic Jew who told me in 2014 - after I'd seen from Isa.66:17 that all of Torah is valid for all people & times, and asked him about Paul having changed Torah; he said, (1) Paul CAN'T change Torah... well, that was true; and (2) Paul didn't change Torah, and he gave me some "proof" from "NT"... well, that wasn't true, and so I was trapped another 8 1/2 years in Messianic, trying to prove to myself and Christians that Paul kept Torah and so should we, while still clinging to an image... twisting Tanakh to fit the Christian narrative I'd bee pumped full of. I eventually had to admit failure, coz some NT writings just could not be interpreted any other way than blatant elder-hatred, twisting of Tanakh, and antisemitic Torah-hatred, e.g., 2 Cor.3. So, I was very glad for your message. This was the first very well presented, and tactfully wise video I've seen today as I sought to carefully find out if this subject can be Kosher at all. May Ha'shem give you favor and blessings (Tehillim 24). Oh, I think there are some wonderful things about numerology, but even there I don't feel to go too deeply into it! I've seen even Rabbi's diverting away, and my heart aches. I know so little and want to learn to have a Yiddish mindset, but it must be just that, nothing else. I want to make sure I stick with what Mosheh & the ancient Elders taught; and the blessings, halakhah, etc. If Jews went astray and followed Jesus for the past 2000 years, thinking he was something he was not, what's to say they / we can't go astray again? In fact, this is the point: from Adam on down, those close to Ha'shem and His path went astray and only very few didn't! It's very easy to go astray! Even Terah (Avraham's father) worshipped idols, even Lavan worshipped idols. Christianity is extremely deceptive! After years and years of day & night searching in Scripture, I finally discovered, between 2021 Oct and 2022 Oct, that the way Mosheh said things isn't always the way newer teachers repeated them, and that it really does matter, e.g., Paul uses only 2 lines out of 18 verses in Deut.32 (in Rom.10-12), which all pertain to this same people, so that he could easily pull the wool over the eyes of his audience. The concept of them being "no-nation" tied in for me with Jer.41-44 where certain Jews who worshipped sun, moon, stars, Tamuz, &/or Queen of Heaven (aka Mother and child, which apparitions in any gender or even no gender, or as mermaid, snake; and as Mary, Jesus, even in 1917 as Fatima...), and they ceased to be the nation. Soon they became Hellenist and easily substituted Jesus as the Greek Logos in place of Torah. In fact, Paul twists no less than three Sacred Texts in Rom.10 alone! And in 2 Cor.3 he twists Isa.44:18 and a few more! Is that not what is happening here: substituting something for God, Torah-observance, & prayer? A strange meditation can be a strange fire. Jeremiah says very few will return, and another prophet says many will die in the wilderness of the nations. I have cried out to God so much in the past few years to be able to return (my Great granny of blessed memory, whom I knew until I was 10, when she died at 93, was the only sane person in our family. Despite having married a Catholic... I think she tried to return, but by then the damage was done in the next generations!). After seeing that "their rock is not Israel's Rock" (Deut.32:31), I wondered how it is that Paul, myself, and so many others experienced miracles as we did, and God reminded me that many religions have started and drawn adherents this way. And even the false prophets thought they were right, and Ahab was deceived by it (1 Kings 22). How was I so deceived? Because of compromise and having been born into it; Ha'shem gave me choice, and I had to discover that it was the wrong choice I had made, when it just kept on not delivering righteous fruit. The character of Paul wasn't unlike the character of the prophets who told Micaiah to prophesy as they did, and slapped him in the face... this showed they weren't living Torah and could, thus, be easily deceived in order to fulfil Deut.32, just as 1 Kings 22's false prophets brought about Elijah's prophecy re King Ahab. And it is ever clearer how much Jesus twisted Tanakh! He's definitely NOT Messiah! I also saw that the disciples of John & Peter were even more Greek than them, and I saw all branches of the church's 2000 years of persecution of the Jews, and thought: "What fruit?" May Ha'shem keep us from stumbling over anything, even (and especially) if it looks Yiddish! Isn't that exactly where we'll be presented with choice, to see if we love Ha'shem and will worship only Him?! May we be found to have ever cleaner hands and ever purer hearts, Amen

Very good lesson rabbi. I just wanted to make note that when people asked blessings from the Lubavitcher Rebbe he refused anything hinting of a bribe, and always demanded an increase in some Torah observance instead, and all with an attitude of love and brotherhood and optimism!

Yes rabbi it sad when people see god as a pagan god that one can get power from rather than seeing Hashem as one’s creator and loving farther, wanting his power rather than wanting his love

With all due respect. According to the interpretation. Korach had some justification to believe that Moshe was privy to a “secret knowledge “. We find that 1)Moshe ask HaShem to punish them in a way never before seen. 2)When HaShem released a plague on the people, Moshe told Aaron to prepare a incense mixture and HaShem stopped the plague. Also, If only Aaron was to do the incense ritual, why did everyone in Korach group have the tools needed to perform the rite? Please forgive me from any unintentional disrespect with my questions and statements.

Korach has a mistaken and erroneously divided personal justification of his view, but was totally without understanding about how God operates. God called Moses, He chose Moses, He consecrated him, set him apart for His divine purpose. Nothing Moses did put himself into this position, He was placed into the position He was in. The government and rule is from heaven, the order of hierarchy and responsibilities of the constituents is completely God’s prerogative and He does not allow anyone to create themselves into a vessel for a use of their own choosing. Korach did not know the Creator’s nature and way. He is sovereign, and not beholden to men or their desires.

@jefferystocker8214 There are two possibilities I see: 1) the hammered out sheets and made sensors; or more likely, 2) they had incence censors that were for common use, but now they used them for Ha'shem... this is why they became Holy after being presented to Ha'shem. They were not holy before being used for Ha'shem. Many nations have incense-censors for their gods &/or for their homes, clothes wardrobes, etc.

Shadal wrote a specific book against the zohar, which contains false observation and perception of hashem. Unfortunately it wasn’t mentioned in your speech. It’s quite obvious you didn’t mention this deliberately. One should never shy away from the truth. The zohar is exactly the book that promotes idolatry as described in this lecture.

Has vshalom the Zohar promotes idolatry. You think that all of the amazing rabbis who have quoted it, studied it, or revered it were IDOL worshippers? Meanwhile, Shadal, the person you referenced, believed that Kohelet wasn't really written by Shlomo HaMelech???

@@MrMaxSkorpion Yes, they were great men and yeas, they were duped. The fragmentation of the Divinity, which led many kabbalists including Nehemiah Hayyun to hold by a trinitarian view of G-d, all sorts of weird, off-the-wall teachings cynically ascribed to Shimon Bar Yochai for commercial purposes (according to Moshe de Leon's own wife), etc. etc.
