What cameras did you use for the trip? Battery life? SD card size?

Hi John! We were nervous about the rain (even with the dry bags) so we left the fancy stuff behind! We shot with me iPhone13 Pro and our GoPro Hero 10 with the media mod. We packed a power bank for the iPhone (needed to recharge only once as we kept in airplane mode) and 3 spare batteries for the GoPro. We brought two memory cards for the GoPro and it was plenty! Hope this helps! Are you planning to do the trek?

@@explorinwithlaurin thanks for the response. yes, we are planning on going at the end of April and arrive in Machu Picchu on our 5th wedding anniversiary. We climb Stone Mountain in GA as much as we can weather permitting so I thnk we can handle the hike itself, but am concerned about the altitude AND the hike. LOL. Our Packs are smaller than what you guys took. We are using more daypack camelbacks for the water and possibly swapping out for warmer/cooler clothes depending on the need, do we need bigger?. what was the pace? how looks like you guys had a smaller personal group, how did you tip? I have allergies, how were the tents? clean? fresh? thanks for the info and the great video
