Agree completely! Yett all the recappers who recap the episodes all call Maci terrible because she doesn't show drama between her and Taylor but instead shows Bently growing up. There's plenty of drama shown between Caitlyn, Amber, and their baby daddies. It's nnice to view a parent that has a stable child and watch them raise him rather than just fights all the time.

This is so positive to see. Parenting doesn't end when conversations get difficult or uncomfortable, that is when our kids need us most. You are their lifeline and source of information, morals, and values. Our kids NEED these conversations, they aren't optional to us as parents. Too many parents brush off this conversation, and then their kids "learn" about their bodies from the internet (YIKES) or one of the "louder" kids in the class who is passing around "information". Most of the time this information is either false, degrading, or a misrepresentation of reality. This is NOT where children should learn about their bodies or sex. Give your kids the right information, so they don't start believing what they hear from their friend who heard it from his brother who saw it online.... . All kids DESERVE to be educated about their own bodies and the "birds and the bees". It literally blows my mind that some parents don't discuss this with their kids, absolutely terrible. Don't let the media, internet, and your kids' peers shape YOUR child's understanding of their body and sexuality. It's so sad that parents educating their OWN children is even "debatable", this is your child's right. This is their body. If you don't give them the information, they will find some version of it somewhere, with or without you.

“Or boys” THAT! That’s how you do that. Parents take notes. Being open, honest and accepting like a TRUE parent 👏🏼👏🏼
@mnoorlander92053 жыл бұрын
You can disagree with an action or behaviour of a child and still love your child. Every parent teaches their child with what they believe is the truth and try to guide the child according to that and accept or doesn't accept certain behaviour. With their truth of what freedom is, what love is, what right and wrong is etc. All those parents are "true" parents. If you can have your definition of "true" then everybody can have it and there is no right or wrong.

my parents, but specifically my mom, had the first talk about birds and bees with me when I was about 8. I am 22 now and I truly think the healthy relationship I have with sex and the ways I have protected my sexual health and overall well-being is by mother being open and honest with me about everything. It’s important to know all the reproductive parts and names, and if deciding to get on birth control, what methods work best for you and she taught me all of it. I know Bentley must feel awkward at his age starting to learn about adult life but good job to his parents for making sure he definitely knows right from wrong in terms of sexual well-being. the best part isn't just the fact they're having the talk early but the fact maci included the notion of Bentley possibly liking boys...yeah he may not but it's nice to know that your parents are ok with that and shows how unconditional their love is

Wow, it's hard to realize Bentley is old enough to have this talk. He's so cute ! Maci & Taylor great parenting. Love it Maci when Bentley says How does it come out. You looked relieved to say "that'll be for another day ". LOL ! Keep up the great work. Praying for you all. Donna in NC

This will be me having this talk with my son... Love their lax approach so they don't feel too much pressure and they can all laugh

I absolutely love Maci and always have. This conversation she and Taylor has with Bentley was great. Well said, they weren’t too serious and allowed him to ask questions. And to top it all off and why I love her, made it perfectly ok if he didn’t like girls and liked boys🥺 ❤️.

Bentley is a perfect mix of Maci and Ryan. When he was younger it was all Maci's face. :)

I admire their way of parenting. Letting him know now that he can talk to them no matter what.
