With percentage pierce buffs/damage buffs, when the resulting chnage is not a whole number, it occurs every x time. For example, a 1 pierce projectile receiving +50% will get 1 pierce 50% if the time and 2 pierce 50% if the time. But in the form of 1, 2, 1, 2...

11:26 percentage pierce is kinda funny, 5% gets added as a decimal to the total pierce every time a tower shoots, and then when it's enough to be a complete number like from 3 to 4 it then gets the pierce, so maybe yeah it's worth it because savatars shoot so fast.

I think what was the original idea of this kind off videos, was to use not so expensive towers, so you could also do a vid with only towers(all costs included) wich cost less then 10k, or only tiers under 10k.

big step up. i'm expecting bbrewed savatars 11:18 it works like this, yeah, it's the Bloons Monkey City system 12:55 reminds me of pat in bloons td battles 2 the issue with decamo sub is that you lose the bonus damage from the ultravision savatars. in fact, you might've gotten past the round if you sold some epic ranges for ultravisions for more ddt damage, the fact that each projectile gets it makes it strong

I think tier 5s only is interesting, it also posses a very interesting farming challenge if you can only use tier 5s, since you can’t use more than 3 farms. If you do tier 4s only, maybe do no super monkey to change things up

i'd say the teir 4 video is justified, you miss out on ultraboost, permabrew, homeland defence, vtsg support, cripple moab ect. you lose out on a lot of the stacking buffs along which makes temples last as long as they do. that said fair enough not wanting to jump in right away cause yeah, it is a little too close to a normal lategame, though all of these videos have turned into super monkey spam so it kinda always has been.

Idk I still think T4 and T5 would be interesting. T4 because it’s still quite different from normal late game as you don’t have many of the max debuffs or paragons/VTSG. I bet round 300 wouldn’t be possible. T5 would be interesting because you can only use T5 towers so no temple spam, no Shinobi spam, no paragons etc. Very different from normal late game. Also no farm spam since you can only use the 3 T5 farms. It would probably do worse than T3s even because of that.

Of course this tier level is where tower specialization is starting to take, which makes certain strategies a really obvious choice for freeplay. Still good content, but from what I can tell this gimmick did lower my interest on this challenge, considering that freeplay was one of BTD6's weakest aspect as a tower defense game. Now I'm trying to motivate myself in returning to this game, but sadly this is just an empty husk of experience compared to to the thrill and working around limitation in BTD Battles 2. One last thing, what would be thr hardest possible map to run without normal damage towers, lead strippers, and damage type improvers like acidic dip and heat it up. ( yes, some heroes are included on selection ban )
