Hi Grace, This is Barb Davis, my daughter and I were talking with you at the 2023 Artisan Festival and took some pictures :) We had such a great time there. I recently purchased the Everything Bowl in the Sterling Check pattern to place atop the fridge in my small apartment kitchen. It doubles as decor and extra storage for bread, etc. I want to also say thank you. I recently discovered Mackenzie-Childs and it’s been so fun discovering more about it via your channel. Honestly, it’s therapeutic to sometimes relax and unwind with a couple of your videos in the evening after a stressful day at work. I enjoy your videos and your passion for MC. I love seeing how you paint your own furniture, lamps, etc and how much fun you have doing it. You have given me the inspiration to try it too. I found MC a few years ago and fell in love with it. Believe me I would be just like you if I could, purchasing my favorite pieces and enjoy using them. I am disappointed that a few have made negative comments about how much it costs and trying to shame you for doing something you love. I celebrate with you and feel excited too when you share your purchases and I love seeing what you get. You seem like such a wonderful person and I am thankful to have found your channel. I believe some people have a hard time accepting that we all are in different places in our lives & we have different incomes, means, priorities & needs. You stated your comments very nicely regarding giving back. I for one have worked very hard to be able to enjoy indulging in things I enjoy. Mackenzie Childs being one of them. I enjoyed seeing your haul. I did not make it to the festival. My friend bought a few things from there. I hope to go to the warehouse sale in the spring. I liked the everything bowl the best. I have several pieces of the black and white check. I also paint them and have two small tables I want to tackle soon. I do i hope I get to meet you one day. Yes it makes me happy too. We remodeled our kitchen with white cabinets and my courtly check is highlighted iin it. Love love love it too. Can't wait until your next video.

Don’t ever be sorry for living a happy life. Some ppl will make you feel bad because they don’t have stuff. That’s not your fault. I grew up very poor. We were so poor….poor ppl looked rich. Today I own my home and have everything I need. I think Jehovah God and his dear son Jesus for that and myself. Always stay humble and kind. Keep happy 🌺

Don’t ever apologize to anyone for the things you work hard to buy. This is America. Everyone has choices they can make. I choose to go to school after 4 kids and completed a terminal degree. I worked 3 jobs and was often so tired. People who complain about what you have or is able to get are generally those who doesn’t want to do the work or have a plan to succeed and so their plan to fail is working beautifully. Unless you won the lotto or robbed a bank, it was sweat and hard work that made you able to afford all the McKenzie Childs you want. No one should browbeat you for that and you should not apologize.
