I feel like I'm the only one who thinks Kenzie and Sage deserved to win!!! They are more experienced and I just kinda feel like they were robbed of that trophy because of how much experience and styles they know. And Kenzie went into the competition not knowing any ballroom and she killed it every single week and busted her butt to reach the finale. Sorry for my rant and my opinion, I think they just deserved to win

I agree with you, except I thought that all the finalists should have won, they all had their amazing strengths. What I really loved about this though was that it was all about Mackenzie, she wasn’t being compared to Maddie constantly like on Dance Moms and basically every other aspect.

Jessica Cassar she may have done contemporary but she sure as hell hasn’t done partner work and lifts like that before! Also this was literally 2 years ago it doesn’t matter now and around half of the other celebrities have done some sort of dance training so it doesn’t matter at all!

KFZ MNZ I know it doesn’t matter, it’s just my opinion. Either way if she had danced with a partner or not she knows the basics of contemporary. It shouldn’t be such a big worry for her if she knows the basics and can learn and add on to the experience by learning to dance contemporary with a partner That’s what I meant, is that I find it funny that she is worried about contemporary yet she shouldn’t be, as long as she knew the basic concepts, learning with a partner should come easier and challenging to her at the same time

Jessica Cassar totally agree, the judges did also mention every week about her past dance training and brought it up especially on her contemporary week! They even said on the first week ‘You’re trained in contemporary and jazz right?’ So it never went untalked about! And I’m my opinion they pushed her too her limits with the things she could already do, just like what they did with the kids who had some past hip hop background!!

Ella Rose yeah so the whole show was filmed over like 6 weeks in August 2018 and was aired in October 2018! Because they’re all kids and have school they filmed it all in the summer break so they didn’t need to stop for school work and so it was done quicker! Although it was very hard on them (they had to learn around 5 dances a week) they all did amazing!
