everyone is trying to make their own version of Masala fry. though it might taste good but it will always be rubbery and not like the soft and juicy masala fries you get in Restaurants. the trick is to boil the fish in water adding haldi and salt for 10 minutes. then remove the fish and saute it in the masala you have half cooked. you can add little bit of the haldi water in the masala as well to adjust the thickness and enhance taste.

What you are saying in 100% true. KZbinrs trying to be unique add or leave a ingredient. I am really sorry to say some have lost the native flavours. But what caught my attention was your Boil Fish For 10 Mins. Now that's something new I heard. Can you please elaborate. I am here searching for that unique flavour that I once ate at a restaurant in mangalore.
