If I'm right, there is only one usb port. How would I input a second computer or a gaming console into the DLZ? I know that the rodecaster pro ii has two usb inputs.

Plug it into stereo channel 5/6 or 7/8. For a gaming console, you made need an audio extractor to take audio from the HDMI signal.

A couple more mic inputs would stand above others for me.

Video sync during live broadcast, is there and option for that?
@AmericanMusicalSupply Жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks for the question! This mixer is only for audio mixing so your video settings for live broadcasting would be dealt with using the recording/live broadcasting software on your computer. If you have video delay I recommend checking your video settings on said broadcast software. Thanks!

What is the memory? How much time can it record?
@AmericanMusicalSupply6 ай бұрын
Sadly, there is no internal memory. However, there are numerous ways to record to different storage devices - mainly via an SD card, or an external hard drive. Recording time will depend on the storage available on your device of choice. Let us know if you have any additional questions! - Zach H.

Everybody is looking to get a piece of the pie. But no one is trying to be innovative. Rode is thinking about adding a video capture card to their mixer to make it a one stop shop meanwhile all the other companies are looking to copy Rode. I'm sure both the Bose and the Mackie version are better than the rodecaster pro 2 but none of them are innovative. Just copycats. We've seen these moves before, just look at zoom P8 and Tascam mixcast and you'll see how it didn't end well for either one of them. I'm tempted to say the only effort Mackie made was adding a larger screen.

Agree with your opinion. But sometimes followers can actually see the shortcomings of other products, so they can make improvements and/or provide other features that don't exist in the products they follow. I have both RCP1 and RCP2, but really curious about this DLZ. And I believe, this animal is better than RCP in several aspects.

I agree. They made a larger rodecaster lol

@@nata.sasmita i agree with you I think the Mackie is better but geared more towards musicians meanwhile rcp2 is geared towards gamers, streamers and podcasters. I owned both RCP and rcp2

That's because you don't know what you're talking about. This thing isn't just better than the rodecaster, it slaughters it. And I own both rcp1 and rcp2... The onyx 80 preamps with 80db of clean gain alone murdered the rodecaster. The build quality buried rode, the screen read its eulogy, and the routing options are next level. The Mackie is objectively better in every way. And if you think the rodecasters gimmick strategy of slapping a clock on a radio is innovative, lol then I have a bridge to sell you. Rode: how to innovate, ahh yes let's just make the same product then take another product and slap it into our product and act like we invented a new product. Me: umm.. both those products already exist except better versions and build qualities. Rode should have made a better rcp1 by increasing the quality of what they had and enhancing its preexisting features, adding granular controls and routing options. Actual useful things. Will be buying the Mackie next.

@@ThePostPatrol you got me lost with your post! I’m looking for honest feedback and you sounding like an arrogant negative person. Everyone does not know about this stuff so explain your point in a logical way bc I’m a person that’s actually trying not make an informed decision so I read thoughts but you failed on providing useable feedback.

$799 for less functionality than the rodecaster pro 2…. Mackie missed on this thing. Needed a second USB and here is the big one, ability to jam sync Timecode. It’s 2023 and all these companies keep forgetting something that has been around for DECADES!

Rodecaster looks like a toy. Nobody is obilgating you to buy it.
