Mackinac City KOA is very nice. Next trip up try Castlerock Campark on the water, just north of St Ignace. 👍. Love the Island! Glad you were able to visit, great beauty & great people. Excellent video, you covered many parts of the island few folks venture to, well done!!!

I haven't been to Mackinaw Island since I was a child and that's been quite a while. Now that we're retired with a Class A diesel pusher and 2 lectric bikes we are just going to have to make that a must do!!🥰💞👍🚲

There's plenty room for your coach at both KOA and Mill Creek Park. Those electric bikes would be perfect. I wish I was more informed about all the peddling we were about to do. The Island is beautiful. Im sure you will enjoy your trip. Thanks for watching.

I went there on a bus trip several years ago. My favorite spot was the Arch Rock!! Lake Huron is SO CLEAR!!!! Beautiful area. Looks like you had a great trip, as well!!

Just south of Battle Creek, MI is Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary. We went there a few years ago and my son got to hold a small - medium alligator. He also feed a very large alligator. I think they frown upon wrestling them though.

We hate the the road was washed out. Now we got to return. We feel we missed something. Where do you stay when you visit Macinaw?

Adventure Bandits we have stayed at multiple places over the years ( we're 70 yrs young and go always once, sometimes twice a year). We have stayed mostly at the Inn on Mackinac in the last decade , but the last couple of years, they have raised their prices beyond my retirement budget. In October we are booked at The Cottage Inn B&B on Market St. We have stayed there many times ( once in January as it was on my bucket list to visit the Island in the winter. That's a whole other saga). Rose and Dave do an amazing job. I hope you can stay there a few days sometime in the future. Just to bait you, besides the rich history, there are little nuggets to find. Such as the 1932 Plymouth left to the elements in the woods, a remnant of the one and only ski slope on an island, the Crack in the Island. Lots to discover. I'd love to send you a couple of pics, but don't think I can attach them on KZbin. If there is a way to do that and maintain our privacy, l let me know.
