Mackinac Island

I know it’s been almost 2 months since I filmed this, but I was busy enjoying my summer and getting used to the schedule of my fall semester. Well it’s still going to be summer for a little while, so you can see what adventures I embarked on around Mackinac Island. I was there from 10:30AM to 4:30PM, but I never wanted to leave. There are no cars on the island, however, you do have to watch out for bikes and horse carriages. There are plenty of fudge shops and small businesses for buying souvenirs. The streets weren’t filled with crowds at first, so after I walked around and went inside the stores, I went to see the Grand Hotel. It’s not the biggest hotel in the world or even in the US, but it has the worlds largest front porch. Another place I recommend visiting in Mackinac Island State Park is Arch Rock, an amazing geological formation. I started seeing a lot of videos about Mackinac Island, and since I was going to be in Cincinnati for the summer, I decided to head towards Michigan. It was the first time I had ever been in the Upper Peninsula. I hope you like the summer video, its further away from my traveling destinations.
