Appreciate your comments regarding "middle of the road" in various disciplines. As I progress in my wing journey there are certain things that I appreciate in a wing so I'm glad that you touch on them. Racing wings, surf wings, jumping wings, freestyle wings - I''m beginning to notice a real difference in all! Thanks Tucker!

Hey ! Good review, about two points : - I do think the one pump thingy is a good thing. I Don't see myself pumping the leading edge, close it, then pumping the strut would be a pain in the ass and the one pump is saving you time. - About the rope ancrage points for the harness, I was a bit suprised too that there is not, but at the end of the day, isn't winging here to be simplier than kiting ? I really like the fact that I don't need a harness, and I've done some 5h sessions without it and feel fine. But I do understand also that for some it's good for the forearms. But it is rellay easy to find a solution and I think North provide a rope that you can use on it ;)

For sure Tom, mostly I'm just nitpicking because I really like this wing. I try to find something to comment on that could be improved. Some of that is subject to my personal preferences ;) Personally, I'm a big fan of harnesses. I ride overpowered and stay upwind at the same spot more often than downwinding so it takes a toll on your arms. Especially when you are riding hard and learning new tricks. I like to stay fresh so I can progress rather than fatigue or lose posture. Especially when testing new wings that I need to get an honest feel for. -Tucker

Yes, the brands have moved to a more pliable window material which isn't affected by the cold. -Tucker

Hi Tucker, could you comment on the Nova’s upwind performance ( stability, balance, and angle into the wind), as well as its stability when flagged out ? Thanks

The Nova is rather well balanced side to side and luffs well in good wind. It's a little heavy in the trailing edge so it doesn't luff amazing in light winds. It goes upwind well and had medium drag into the wind. Does that help? -Tucker

You reviewed Cabrinha Mantis v2 and North Nova v2. If you had to choose between those two - which would be your choice?

Great review! Which one would you suggest for freeriding, Duotone Unit or North Nova?

Either works well for freeriding. Personally, I prefer the Unit for the lighter weight and grunty low end. - Tucker
