*cough cough cough* Bruno Mars? Michael Jackson? Louis Armstrong? How about the Beatles and the Jersey Boys? Those Artists Are what we call true singers. But those with auto-tuners don't have talent. Except T-Pain, he is cool.

I notice that Kesha second guesses her voice when she sings live, so she holds back. It's kind of sad cuz she's so amazing. I wish she wasn't afraid to let go and just sing.

Careem Smith you're so right.
@jerseygirlinvermont6 жыл бұрын
Careem Smith You're absolutely right. It's very unfortunate that she was preyed upon by a true monster from such a young age. Amongst the other horrors she dealt with was the mental or psychological/emotional abuse with him constantly eroding her self confidence even in her own ability to use her own voice which is strong, powerful and beautiful naturally. He constantly insisted that she needed the assistance of the autotune because otherwise "she wasn't good enough"! I'm hoping that as time passes, and she continues to heal she'll grow more confident in her natural abilities, and we'll see her become more comfortable during live performances.

The audience is lucky; they've now got a copy of both "Rainbow" and "Gemini" ;) This performance will for sure push this song into the top 40 of the US Billboard 100, and Kesha's pervious appearance to sing "Praying" will push its US sales as well. "Praying" has sold 380,000 copies in America and is very close to attaining Gold in the US (500,000 copies).

Deep Flow Praying sold over 1million copie
@darius70656 жыл бұрын
"Praying" was certified Platinum in the United States in December 2017, denoting track-equivalent units of over 1 million copies. These "track-equivalent" units consist of streams, album-equivalent data and pure sales of "Praying". With that being said, "Praying" maybe sold around 600-700,000 units, with the rest coming from streams and others. The song also dropped unexpected from the Billboard Hot 100 a few weeks ago from number 34 or something like that.

@jerseygirlinvermont6 жыл бұрын
James Lawson Thanks for outing yourself. You sound so racist and bigoted it's shameful. Perhaps you should consider the fact that America doesn't have a "National Language". White Europeans, 102 of them to be exact, showed up on a boat called the Mayflower at Plymouth, Massachusetts on November 11, 1602. They were seeking freedom from what they considered the tyranny of the British Crown. However, it's important to remember that the Continent of North America was already inhabited by the Indigenous Native American Peoples. No matter to the White European Settlers though as more and more came to North America they just figured they could and would slaughter every single one of them. That's called "GENOCIDE". Those that they could not slaughter they force marched to reservations on lands out in areas which they themselves did not intend to inhabit keeping all the most fertile farm land for themselves. So basically they STOLE a country from it's Indigenous Native People, and they STOLE a language from a country that they couldn't wait to get away from. However, they didn't stop there. As they took over huge pieces of farm land they needed someone to do the work for them while they grew fat and prosperous so they went to Africa and kidnapped Black men, women and children. They were put in chains and placed into the cargo holds of boats and brought to this STOLEN country and were then sold to the White European Settlers to do their every bidding. Families were split up. The punishment for disobedience was the whip. Since they were bought and paid for the raping of the female slaves was relatively normal because they were property. So as they robbed, raped and pillaged their way across a country they STOLE and renamed America they managed to try to kill off the people who actually had the right to say they owned this country to begin with the Indigenous Native American Peoples and they managed to enslave an entire other race of human beings from another country as well. So before you make comments like the one you did, remember what your ancestors did that got you here. There is no National Language in America.

LYRICS I wish somebody would have told me babe Some day, these will be the good old days All the love you won't forget And all these reckless nights you won't regret Someday soon, your whole life's gonna change You'll miss the magic of these good old days I was thinking about the band I was thinking about the fans We were underground Loaded merch in that 12-passenger van In a small club in Minnesota And the snow outside of 1st Ave I just wanted my name in a star Now look at where we at Still growing up, still growing up I'd be laying in my bed and dream about what I'd become Couldn't wait to get older, couldn't wait to be someone Now that I'm here, wishing I was still young Those good old days I wish somebody would have told me babe That some day, these will be the good old days All the love you won't forget And all these reckless nights you won't regret 'Cause someday soon, your whole life's gonna change You'll miss the magic of the good old days Wish I didn't think I had the answers Wish I didn't drink all of that glass first Wish I made it to homecoming Got up the courage to ask her Wish I would've gotten out of my shell Wish I put the bottle back on that shelf Wish I wouldn't have worry about what other people thought And felt comfortable in myself Rooftop open and the stars above Moment frozen, sneaking out, and falling in love Me, you and that futon, we'd just begun On the grass, dreaming, figuring out who I was Those good old days I wish somebody would have told me babe That some day, these will be the good old days All the love you won't forget And all these reckless nights you won't regret 'Cause someday soon, your whole life's gonna change You'll miss the magic of the good old days Never thought we'd get old, maybe we're still young Maybe we always look back and think it was better than it was Maybe these are the moments Maybe I've been missing what it's about Been scared of the future, thinking about the past While missing out on now We've come so far, I guess I'm proud And I ain't worried about the wrinkles around my smile I've got some scars, I've been around I've felt some pain, I've seen some things, but I'm here now Those good old days You don't know, what you've got Till it goes, till it's gone You don't know, what you've got Till it goes, till it's gone I wish somebody would have told me babe Some day, these will be the good old days All the love you won't forget And all these reckless nights you won't regret Someday soon, your whole life's gonna change You'll miss the magic of these good old days

Yes, you're definitely right about them. They're both great singers, this song reminds me of my late wife cos we used to sing it together. I love listening to them sing 🎶
