My last 9 I played a had a really rough day of the tees, but on whole 9 I hit one of the best drives of my life. About 290 straight down the middle. All that pain just melted away lmao. Those shots are what keep you coming back

@@TalkinAthletics same man I’ve been playing for 2 months but my front 9 was pretty butt the other day and on hole 11 where I play it’s a 500 yard straight drive and I walked up, teed up, didnt even practice swing and drilled it 270… the soul reason I’m going again😂

First time I got turned on to golf was when my estranged uncle sent me out to the baseball field with a 2 iron. I hit it so good one time I was hooked. I got so dripped with dopamine, I haven't given up the game since. The best is going out by yourself. That can really help you mentally.

yeah my buddy used to wonder why i usually shoot better when i played alone until he tried it. Super easy to just be zoned in with little distractions

It's weird tho, I've shot my best 18 hole rounds with other people playing with. But, again, I think that's a product of shooting alone. I usually won't even keep score when I'm playing alone. I'm not even concerned with a number on the scorecard. Only concerned with good shots with big emphasis on putting. Reading greens is the most important skill imo. Nothing lowers your score like a sub 2 putt average.
