Everyone wants the catch. They dont understand the work and the time that goes in. Thanks for showing that aspect of the sport and explaining why most trappers do it. Its not the money. Its the memories. You have to work to make those memories.

It’s all about the memories and the pursuit. There’s no money in fur, unless you’re spending it.

I get the same questions, like you said when you’re on your time and you’re dime you have to know where to draw the line, that’s only logical, however I do enjoy the process and helping people, but nuisance work definitely takes the sting away from places like this lol. Thanks for another great video and showing people that you just don’t always get them. Spring is coming!

No you are an any trap that will catch a beaver for you tube extraordinare in 3 days lol. And after that say I got them all. But fact is beaver get trap smart very quick when setting on lodges. Beaver will sit in a house for more than two weeks and not move because of traps. I trap houses and lodges last on elimination properties. But I know it’s all about showing catches 90 % of the time. At least Scott you give us quick entertainment for those of us that trap 7 days a week and 6 months a year lol

Good videos on the reality of trapping sometime. Do you use a certain kind of axe for your trapping.

Atta boy! Listen… it doesn’t matter if you get animals in the traps every time. People watch to see you out in the environment or fishing or whatever. You are an entertaining sob. hahaha

Funny how folk's don't remember that our dollars ain't worth shite anymore. They must not buy stuff because everything is way over priced. An is hard to even get by these day's. It is why I haven't trapped in like 4 years going on five. Gas here in CNY is stupid high. Rent is stupid high. Food prices are stupid high. So I have to choose my poison, lol. Roof over the family head trumps any activity I miss doing. Trappin or hunting does not put enough food on the table. One must travel to do so an that is a really pricey gas bill. Glad you are still getting after it for our entertainment brother.

God made a perfect sheet of ice & blanket of snow, just so you could punch holes in it. T.S. TIME! "BEAVER IS BAT OF THE WATER!" THEY FEED ON CARP AT ANY CHANCE THEY GET.
