All of this was good, but the bit about how to do transparent titling was priceless. Thanks!

Your audio quality is noticeably better between 2021 and 2022. Whichever audio recording upgrade you got for 2022 was worth it! Great video!

For sure my videos would not look as good as they do without everything Gary has taught me about iMovie and Keynote. Edit: Even when you think you know about creating animations in Keynote to move to iMovie and upload to KZbin, there's still a step you might be missing. Today I learned that I was not creating my slides/ movies in 4k like the rest of my video. I knew something was wrong with my resolution and the 3840x2160 cleared that up right away. Thank you, Gary!

This is your best video yet. I use FCPX for videos and struggle with this type of animation. I’ve done a bunch of movies with Keynote, but moved away from it because of resolution concerns. I spent a bunch of money on FCPX plug-ins - haha! You solved this issue for me with this video. I’m back to Keynote for animations like this. Thanks very much!

Hi, Again a great video .. thank you 😄😄 Maybe a tip for others : I personally hate the scroll titles from below to the top. Reason ? it is touching the border of your screen. For the "end" credits i use black screen with a picture in picture with some movie fails or logos. To prevent the text touching the screen borders i use black rectangles below and above the screen with a black to black gradient . The top bar gets the upper part solid and bottom part transparent.. and the other way around for the bottom rectangle. This way your scroll credits " fades " in the screen ( away from the border ) while moving up and when reaching the top of the screen they " fade " out. Personally i think it looks way better and more " uhm.... " professional in imovie 😄 {{ BTW this also works if you use GREEN SCREEN for the end credits . Just do the same ... green rectangles with a green to green/transparent gradient }} Like mentioned in this movie : " ... everything is possible ... " yes even animating " production " logos like universal ... but it will take some time and creating skills. Who says " you can't make great things in Imovie " .. With KEYNOTE you CAN ! 🤭

Thanks for this! In some of my work, I need to provide brief translations on the screen for what is being said. This seems to address some of the challenge before me. Do you have any specific video to which you can refer me for such a task? Please and, as always, very kind thanks!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3LZYatma9min7c but you can also just do that with the built-in iMovie titles.

I'm literally astounded. When I go to the Apple Store and speak with some of the presenters or a couple of the Geniuses, I realize just HOW MUCH I know about getting the most out of my Mac from our good friend, Gary. How he hasn't been bought up by Apple yet is really sort of astounding. I suppose we should be grateful!
