Cool video! In the movie Max Baer who plays the sheriff picks up his son at a military school. That school is the Jean Harvie Community Center located in Walnut Grove Ca. It was a school house before it became the community center. Years ago I played a Halloween costume party put on by the chamber of commerce at that school. We rocked that place!! Nothing like getting paid to play music and party on the Sacramento delta!

was wondering where the school was! since your a local, do yo know where the gas station and sheriff's house were? I drive through there from time to time and can't find either

I’m not sure where the repair shop gas station is located. It might be in Freeport. The little single pump station where they pick up the girl is located at Steamboat Landing off Steamboat Slough. Not sure where the house is at. The cafe they were eating at when they did the dine and dash is in the town of Freeport.

That gas pump was owned by Steamboat Landing, still there today and is/was on the market. Beautiful place
