Hi! Not sure what you mean by a clip? If you are referring to a closure, I hot glued a magnetic snap closure to my bag. I do not have a video for this yet but I will add it to my list!

Of course! Instead of descending into a triangle shape, you will continue to make full rows of alternating square knots until you achieve your desired length. You will end up with one long rectangular panel that you will fold into thirds. You can also skip the line of diagonal clove hitch knots. The rest is the same. Does that make sense?

No. This is twisted rope. It is 5mm with 3 strands from Modern Macrame. You can make this project with single strand string.

Hi! Yes you can. You will need to use more ropes to achieve the same width and you will have to make A LOT more rows of knots to get the same size. It is possible it will just take a lot longer.

I have not made a clutch with 1.5 mm string so I don’t know the precise number of rows you will need. The number of strings you start with depends on our wide you want your clutch. The number of rows of knots depends on how large you want the clutch to be when finished.

I don’t have the purse with me and I’m on vacation but I would say about 5 inches. You can make it as deep as you would like by making more rows of alternating square knots before making the triangle.
