I started this and got as far as the beads, but did not have the type used to hand, I only had some Cheap pony beads that I purchased in my local supermarker the other day. Packet of 250 for £1.50, so I used those, I then made it up as I went along, I have recently started Macrame and know about 3 knots! haha. I used them and completed a fairly good (if I say so myself) result. I started this craft as, being recently retired, I wanted a hobby and I really enjoy it. If things do not work out with my made up patterns, who cares? I had fun trying and it acheived what I wanted, keep me occupied and out of trouble for a few hours!

macramee school indeed! that's a nifty trick you're using to make the tip of the double hitch arrows. it really bothered me that the angle is not quite right. Now I would use your knot thanks for sharing!!

Where do you get your key holders from? I have only been able to find the round ones; I like the look of the ones you use so much better. Thanks for these great tutorials. It's been many years since I did macrame, looking to get back into it and these are a great place to start!
