I’m also embracing more diet processed foods while trying to drop some weight. I do try to sneak in veggies into the protein shakes. It’s amazing how the riced cauliflower from Costco in a shake won’t alter the flavor at all, but makes it bigger and gets some veggies in. Also I’ll add spinach too. No taste but adds bulk and all the good stuff from greens.

I do that to my smoothies also. Most of time cabbage and greens, protein, and some fruit. Can’t taste anything but protein and fruit. I make in vitamix to have room. Also flax seeds

@@carolynlapota5495I’m going to try the cabbage too, it’s probably a lot like the cauliflower

I mean, Obviously you want to add more greens in you day right, but this give you an idea of how simple it really is. It doesn't have to be hard. Thanks so much for commenting.

“Herman Munster lunch box” really had my childhood watching Nick at Nite come out and I thank you for that 😂 🫶🏾

Thanks for this video! I’m a huge Cronometer fan myself. I find tracking really keeps me on track. Plus I love to nerd out on the numbers. I like when you do these videos.

Thanks Joey! I have Cronometer and use the app to track but never used it on the computer. It looks way more user friendly for planning. Looking forward to planning now!

I have to use my computer because the phone screen is too small for me. I am not a phone person at all.

I finally made your seitan, it's amazing. I didn't have pea protein so I used chickpea flour, and I put it in the instant pot for 30 minutes, came out great. these menus are full of great ideas for meals. I'll be in Arizona for a few weeks, I'll do the best I can but I'll get serious when I'm back home. thanks for all your hard work, we appreciate it

Are you in Phoenix during that Trip? If so, lets meet up and grab a salad. So the original seitan recipe uses chickpea flour, I just changed it for more protein. But the chickpea flour will give you a really great recipe also.

Hey - love this video. And, as with you, I'm a huge Cronometer fan. My favorite. Key question for you - just curious, and apologies if you've answered this elsewhere - is your daily calorie intake designed to put you at a deficit? Or is this amount also intended to support your current strength training? Thanks in advance and love your videos!
@PlantBasedDads26 күн бұрын
1400 calories should be a deficit for me but I really think my BMR is actually lower than I think because I am a smaller guy, with less muscle than someone taller and because of that I burn less calories overall. I am training 4 days a week for the last 12 months. Shorter guys are at a disadvantage with all this. Thanks so much for watching and following the channel.

How much is one serving? Cronometer does let you see anymore.

One serving of what?

I do not know how to use chronometer. I have to find your first video about chronometer. This makes no sense to me.

Stress is the silent killer. Eating this way is stressful.

It is not for everyone
@PlantBasedDadsАй бұрын
I agree. I of course would not eat all my meals all week long without greens and veggies or salads, but this was the easiest way to show people who are asking how to plan a week of meals that it can be done by simply finding some foods that work for you and repeating them. If you are on a high protein diet, then of course the protein part will look similar to what I have going on here, but just with more non starchy veggies. Thanks so much for commenting
