Thanks a lot. I have prepared many more courses and want to record them and post them for free in the future. God has gifted with great health and energy and all I wish is to stay healthy -- the rest should come just fine.

I am so happy you did this course, you have no idea. I am am trying to study, both Macro and Microeconomics, to clep out of my Accounting degree mandatory classes. I took 4 clep exams already: English comp 101/102 and Math 101/102. I've already taken Economics, in 11th grade, so with that and your course, I'm hoping, will really help. Thank you, you're the only teacher online that offers this ENTIRE course.

Indeed, you are correct -- most professors treat their teaching as a "job". just like most universities treat their students as milk cows.

I can't thank you enough for your teaching style and energy! My professor is an absolute bore! He seems to dread the thought of coming in to teach. His demeanor clearly shows that he's merely there to add a little extra to his retirement, however, we as students suffer the "sermons" from someone who should have retired years ago. Thanks again! I am learning from you and the textbook.

I am an American college student. Thank you for posting the lectures on Macroeconomics. My professor spends his lectures asking people to put their phones away and stressing that we know the exact number of our National Debt... I am learning everything from reading the textbook and watching you. Wish i had you as my professor.

You are absolutely correct. INDEED, this is exactly what I did in this course just in a couple of lectures and replaced the book with a much better one. Just watch a little longer (3-4 more videos) and you will see.

Yes, you are so correct: indeed, I do not talk and discuss much behavioral econ, although I should. I do talk and teach extensively about behavioral finance, with plenty of lectures on the subject.

thanks Prof' very much. Indeed I saw now that you also have lectures on Technical analysis- That many refer to be a close relative of Behavioral finance. personally I passed the first (CFTe1) exam on the subject from IFTA (The International Federation of Technical Analysts) and now I am studying for the second and final exam in October.

This is a great dissertation by a wonderful teacher. The ironic thing is that Mr Bernanke, the author of the textbook, was the Director of the Federal Reserve and he never realized that with the monetay policies they implemented and their absolute lack of supervision of the Banking system, , they contributed to the bubble and they never foresaw nor anticipated the collapse suffered in 2008.

Thank you for teaching this! Top on my recommended list. The last time I took Macro and Micro, it was just two years after the fall of the Berlin wall. Great to hear the Slavic voice explaining Austrian Economic principles. His videos on the Business Cycle have helped me navigate the business cycle in the United States, and personal applications in the Commercial Real Estate Business has been effective... Hey Teacher? Which lecture do you talk about Adam Smith?
@kmpetrov
@kmpetrov 12 жыл бұрын
No, I don't discuss it. If you watch the course, you will easily understand why. Moreover, it related to open/international economy, which is way beyond an introductory macro course.

Thank you so very much for posting these lecture. I don't have enough time do a macro course in my uni in Australia but feel it would be essentially complimentary to m Busmanagament courses. So this helps, but before I start listening to your next 10 lectures I have some questions. What do you mean when you mentioned that you teach somethings very different/unconventional witch may not be appreciated by other Econ teachers? Also is all this still applicable in the current state of the world? or
@kmpetrov

yes, my lectures on technical analysis would definitely help you in that area, although mine is just a basic introduction.

The real problem is that most professors know VERY LITTLE and have ZERO EXPERIENCE. It is a lot easier to make money teaching finance than doing finance. I did my 10 years of experience, and that's enough for me.

Just be careful -- this is not an ordinary course in macro -- and I am covering very different topics with a very unconventional approach. You are guaranteed to learn some really good macroeconomics, but your econ professor will not appreciate it.
