Binged the original episodes and I am loving the reboot. Still a smart and funny show. I hope more episodes are made after this run. The actor playing Ira is named John Pankow not Peck.

I agree, the math has been terrible. By my calculations, they have been divorced five years, and Mabel has dropped out of college to pursue a singing career.

I have Spectrum and I hope it always stays on there or actually comes on regular TV. I have binged watched the first 6 shows 20 times already! I can hardly until Dec 18 when the rest drop! There is a lot they can write about that will Definately speak to the older crowd like me for example not hearing unless looking at the person or in the same room and menopause! OMGoodness, it is so funny and they all look great! Yeah they look older, and does Cynthia Harris ever age?!!!! I love M.A.Y.! I miss Fran because she and Jsmie played so well off of each other, but I am sure after 10 yes I said 10 seasons of the new show's Tanya will become a familiar part of the show to me and it will be Fran who?!! Doing 1 season and taking it away would be just mean!!! When Spectrum put the old M.A.Y. on I have binged watched all 7 seasons 15 times. Yes I am no longer working so my days are to with how I wish! Love Paul and Jamie!

If the Buchmans weren't people who spoke with profanity in the first 8 years we knew them - they wouldnt start now. Adding in the profanity is just for a boost in ratings and its very disappointing. Paul and Jamie were very intelligent people who didnt have to stoop to profanity laced language to get their point across.

I didn’t like it. It was too forced n too over done n it was just pointless. I only watched one episode n it was just sad
