Over the last 6 months Robin has gone from a character I picked up for a change of pace from my normal roster to my highest GSP fighter and the one I have by far the most fun playing. I've gotten pretty good with Robin, I even got a shield break online using Arcfire to down smash, and then when my opponent shielded again, I did a levin back air and broke his shield.

Great vid! I was wondering what stage is best for Robin? I thought that FD was good for projectile characters and BF for sword characters so not sure what’s best for Robin?

It is really character dependent. Though Robin likes PS2 and SBF as those stages grant them easier access to double Arcfire Up-Smash.

Only the sword and tomes have different values. Each tome hits the same.

Hello Mr Mad Ice King - thanks so much for your video tutorials I truly appreciate them. I do sincerely want to master Robin, even if he/she is not a top tier I still have a strong affinity to this fighter and would want to practice his/her moves & combos. Amongst all the Smash Characters it's truly Robin that resonates with my personality (I like his/her costume and the magician flavor of the robe) and that Robin is a kind of a magician-swordy hybrid type (with his Tomes & Levin Sword) that I find to be very unique. I just hope Smash Team would consider improving Robin by removing the depletion of his/her Tomes & Levin Sword. Such limitations add to the player's concerns to think about instead of just fully focusing on the battle itself without the worry of resource management. If that is too much to ask then at the very least I hope Smash would consider to reduce the recharge/replenish time of Robin's weapons. Please keep on uploading more Robin videos, all power to you and I express my moral support to your channel's success Mr Mad Ice King 👑. 😊

I believe that the whole resource management gives Robin extra appeal that isn't found in other characters. Spawning items to play around with is pretty neat too.

You don't. You can only discard it when it's empty, so that's another part of resource management that you need to learn.

I find f! byleth to be highly.....impractical and fan-servicey and much prefer Robin. As a genderfluid person, Robin having two gender options that are not overly sexualized is a huge appeal to me personally.

@@skyler9643 valid points. To me, both robins are expressionless but female robin fails in annoying voice actor too. I like byleth more expressive but female robin at least isnt sexualized and isnt that different than male robin. Its a cool factor 😊
